Glad to be the first Google review on here because I have a lot to say!

This review is from a full-paying customer, with no prior personal or family connection to any of the artists. I think that is very important to be non-bias!

First off, the shop is cozy. It feels intimate and personal, each artist having their own separated spaces for work. You don’t get this level of privacy from most other studios (just look at various other shop photos). Cool ambiance, comfy couches, some goldfish (ha!) to make you feel comfortable. Nik opened this studio with his brother Neil and it already feels like a family business. Don’t expect a “you pick it, we stick it” tattoo franchise, it’s an experience with custom work and a lot of thought that goes through each piece.

I searched on/off all Florida for about six months since I wanted a lot of work done. I, like most, did my homework and found an artist’s style/work that I connect with. I originally met Neil Nelson (@thedarkestseason) sometime last year at another tattoo parlor. I had my first tattoo session with him and now we’re getting around the 20th. That statement alone speaks volumes of his professionalism, consistency, and personality. This is a large financial decision, yes, but this work is permanent. Think about that and pick the artist you wont regret 10+ years down the road.

Professionalism is not something that should be undervalued at a tattoo studio. I don’t want a chaotic atmosphere with kids running around or homeless people right outside. By this point I am friends with my artist, of course, I’ve been in the chair a lot. Regardless, every time and I mean EVERY TIME I walk-in I am treated like a paying client at a business that wants you to expect the same high-level of professionalism. Neil is an amazing guy and I have never regretted a single dollar I have spent on such beautiful work. He has stopped me on several occasions to ask if I am making a choice I am sure about, whether its changes to the artwork, colors, size, EVERYTHING. He wants you to be the happiest person possible when you walk out.

Would I follow my artist to any studio, yes, duh! That does not undervalue how much more comfortable this setting permits to him and the other artists in doing...

After months looking for a tattoo artist that could execute the perfect tattoo for me I came across sierra (@tattsby_sierra) on instagram. (She was actually the artist that did the original piece that i got my inspo from social media) She is literally the best and I genuinely mean that. Not only is vibe is immaculate with her, Sierra curated a custom piece for me from a few images I sent her way as well as making sure I was comfortable throughout the entirety of the tattoo and not to mention her line work is ALWAYS crisp. I’m looking forward to our next session to finish my sleeve. After what feels like forever, I finally found my go to artist that I can whole heartedly trust with any idea that I bring to her.
