Lake Nona Social — Local services in Orlando

I have to be honest. I don’t get this organization. I signed up to be a vendor for one of their events and was over promised and under delivered. I had to pay a fee to be a part of the event and when I arrived to the venue, nothing was prepared for me to set up. One of the founders didn’t even speak to me. I wasn’t given the opportunity to speak about my business on the microphone as promised. The event didn’t have anything as described. For example, the golf activity didn’t take place and there was no free drink ticket. And none of these failings were mentioned during or after the event. Moreover, the microphone was given to a man to promote his business, yet he didn’t pay to have a table or be a vendor to my knowledge. There was no follow up with me from the organization or social media posted from the event. Ultimately I left feeling confused, taken advantage of and devalued. Lastly, during the event I kept getting a sales pitch as to why I should become a member of this organization that did nothing to help me or promote my business.
