Im hispanic so I need flavor in my healthy meals. MG meals compared to the other two companies tasted more like a home cooked meal from a Spanish home. And you Cannot beat the price. MG meals has a $19.99 monthly subscription that can be easily canceled or paused at any time. In fact, you can order without the subscription. The difference is the price. You pay a little more for the meal. So do the math and see what makes sense for you. I order 2 meals a day for my son and myself . So I save money with subscription. Best part of MG meals is the above and beyond customer service. I research before spending my money and I want to feel that I’m making a responsible purchase. I also have over 15 years in Nordstrom level customer service and I tend to compare all service to Nordstrom and in this economy where the price keeps going up and consumers choose to spend more wisely and have so many choices as to where to spend their money, I actually expect companies to value our business. It not all do. MG meals, has this mom and pop shop feel to it. They reached out via text from the 1st order I made just to follow up on my satisfaction. It just so happened that some of the packages had arrived opened from the delivery. Luckily, they double seal the meals in aluminum bags to ensure no physical hands or items can get into food. If you’re not in the Orlando area, your meals get delivered thru UPS . So once it leaves their kitchen, it’s out of their hands. However, I know they worked on it because my recent order arrived on its side. The delivery person must have thrown it on the ground. That’s not MG’s fault. However, every single meal was in tact! Looks they used a heavy duty seal to ensure our packages arrive perfectly. Again, they reached out to follow up. One time, I tracked my order and it was to arrive late. It clearly showed me that MG shipped my meals on time but truck was stalled for some reason. I wasn’t going say anything. It happens. But MG meals called me to inform me that same day . They make the meals in house & they don’t freeze them to ensure freshness. They do arrive with ice packets but the meal itself is not frozen. Maybe that’s why they taste better than the other two companies I tried. I didn’t think it was a big deal but MG meals informed me they were cooking a new order for me and would send out asap so that I would have my meals fresh. I just love that I wasn’t the one that had to call them. I love that they saw a potential problem and took steps to prevent my dissatisfaction. I love a company that is open and welcoming to feedback. They care about their customers and take the time and prioritize their satisfaction. That makes me feel valued as a customer. Other companies won’t bat an eye if they lose a client. In fact, I had to leave town for business and MG meals reached out to make sure everything was ok and if there was anything they could do. I freaking love them. It truly feels like a family owned online shop. First of its kind. You don’t get that vibe from any online business today. So there is no risk in trying them.
