We had Ding Tea cater a boba cart at our wedding this month, and the boba bar was a huge hit with our guests!
We knew that we wanted boba at our wedding since we started planning several months ago, but a professional catering option was surprisingly difficult to find. Our wedding planner contacted multiple boba stores around Orlando months in advance, and when we were in Orlando for a visit (we are from out of town), we went into at least 5 different stores around the city to try their tea and ask about catering. No luck.
On the second to last day in Orlando, we met with our planner at Ding Tea. We tried their tea, which was delicious, with many great topping options. We asked the employees there about catering, and they gave us an email address.
We followed up via email and Instagram and received a brochure of different boba catering options, ranging from premade and prepackaged drinks to a full service boba bar. These all came with various flavor and topping options and delivery! Prices were extremely reasonable as well. We selected the full service option and chose three flavors and three toppings for 80 guests. The team was extremely flexible and easy to work with. They were even able to adjust the sweetness level of the drinks for us.
On the day of, the Ding Tea team arrived promptly for set up. Their set up even included signs for all the flavors and toppings. Servers were professional. But most importantly, the tea was amazing! Toppings had the right texture and were cooked perfectly. We had multiple guests go for seconds and the boba bar was even more popular than the regular bar during cocktail hour.
All in all, working with Ding Tea was a wonderful experience. They are professional, flexible, easy to work with, and make delicious boba. I highly recommend them for any wedding in the Orlando area -- and please check out their store as well. The street food snacks and macarons are great!

Read moreOkay, my girlfriend enjoyed her tea, and what I did end up eating was very tasty. The decor is nice. The menu is very big too. That being said I had an unpleasant and disappointing experience.
About a month ago I got an ad on Instagram that this place was doing a collab with Sampaguita for a bubble waffle, ube ice cream sundae. It looked delicious and I bookmarked this place to come try it because it was nearby.
Fast forward to today, we came in, and I wanted the ice cream I saw on the advert. The first red flag is that this item is at the very bottom of the menu and all by itself, doesn't even say what flavor the ice cream is. 8 dollars.
We order it and the cashier says that it'll be 20 minutes because they need to make the batter for the waffle. Second red flag, why wouldn't they already have batter made? This isn't a sit down restaurant, I don't want to wait 20 minutes for a sundae.
15 minutes later (my girlfriend's boba tea had been done for over 10 minutes by now but they hadn't served it to us) our pager goes off. My waffle doesn't have any ice cream on it. The same cashier tells me that the ice cream is too iced up and she can't serve it to me. We got a refund. Why wouldn't they check if the Machine was working that day before they even made the waffle if they hadn't made any ice cream that day?
I went through Orlando traffic and went to this specific shop for this specific item and they weren't even able to serve it to me. I can't convey how unbelievably frustrating this whole experience was.
We have a great boba shop here in Clermont that has never ever given me a fuss so I'm never gonna swim through millennia traffic to...

Nestled in a mall, this restaurant is conveniently situated next to a Thai restaurant I've enjoyed visiting before. The setting offers the ease of accessible parking and a selection of dining options nearby, making it a great spot for a leisurely shopping trip followed by a meal. The restaurant itself is neat and clean, contributing to a pleasant atmosphere. The friendly staff add to the welcoming environment, ensuring guests feel right at home from the moment they step in.
About the Food:
The dining experience at this restaurant offers a mix of delightful and moderate experiences. We decided to try two boba teas and found the signature milk tea to be a standout with its perfect amount of sweetness and an intriguing flavor profile I hadn't experienced before. It was truly enjoyable. On the other hand, the Hokkaido coffee latte was just okay; it had a bit too much coffee and caramel flavor for my taste, though the jelly added a nice touch. Overall, the food quality is decent, and while there's room for improvement, particularly in balancing flavors, it's still a good spot for a casual boba tea craving. The restaurant earns a solid 3-star rating for its commendable efforts and consistency in delivering a pleasant yet modest...
