Lechonera Latina #3 — Restaurant in Orlando

SUPERB!!! If I could give this restaurant 100 stars, I would as five stars isn't enough.

Well beyond delicious food, unparalleled customer service and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The manager Ruben let me sample some of the food as I was there to pay for catered food for my son's wedding and it was my son and future daughter-in-law that recommended that I buy the dishes that I was bringing for their reception from this fantastic chain of authentic NYC Puerto Rican 🇵🇷 food that I'm soooooooooooo familiar with having grown up in NYC, and they didn't disappoint at all I'm honoured to say.

I'm going to keep visiting this wonderful chain and family of new friends. They had delicious Item after item on their expansive steam table including Pasteles and in the cold case, they had the all-time BEST Pulpo (Octopus) salad that I've EVER had in my life as well as a delicious large Shrimp salad and Flan to die for.

I could go on forever about this stunning restaurant. I urge those that read my review, to PLEASE go and experience it for yourself and I PROMISE YOU that you'll be so happy that you did!

The very simple food that I bought for my son's wedding was a big hit among the guests as they tore it up!

Very soon I'm bringing an old friend (38 years) and his wife from the Bronx over because they (along with MANY of the guests) took home TONS of the Arroz con gandules from the wedding and kept saying just how good it is, and my friend's wife also loves Pulpo salad, so I'm bringing them by and will continue to introduce this superb establishment to all of my friends that live here and who visits here.

I went here with a very good friend of mine to purchase some lunch, and employee from the back comes out with a attitude starts taking my friends order, but is not paying attention to what my friend is asking him for. My friend and I tell him that's not what we asking for, he changes the pieces of chicken, but throws the the plate and walks away without letting us finish ordering! So as we calling him back and telling him we not done with our order, and he is not paying attention to us, one of his co workers call him and tell him hey, they not done!!! So I tell I tell him hey that's not the way you treat paying customers, and asked him to speak to the manager! We explain to the manager what had happen, and he starts apologizing, we tell him he don't need to apologize, they need til take care of that behavior!!! When I realize that from the beginning, my friend was ahead on the line in front of me, but he wanted to take care of me... He was being racial, against my friend, because my friends is black, although I was translating for my friend he had a attitude and a problem!!! We are very disappointed with this situation, as my friend is was a loyal customer!!! But...

I walked in and the staff was helpful, the place was clean and spacious. The menu was on flat screen TVs and the breakfast menu was very affordable. I already knew what I wanted though. The staff spoke both English and Spanish. I ordered this plate of mangú con los tres golpes (fried cheese, eggs and salami). It was made to order, fresh. I also ordered a large coffee. The coffee was great the food delicious. All for $6.92 after taxes. I will be returning. Great job guys. Gracias por el servicio, lol agradezco.

**UPDATE I returned within 4 days and the breakfast plate went from $5 to $6 and the coffee from $1.50 to $2. And when I asked, I was told I paid the wrong prices. The food is still great, but I'm very disappointed in the inconsistency within the same week.
