Agway of Cape Cod - Orleans — Local services in Orleans

I've been a customer of Agway Orleans for many years. I appreciate dealing with knowledgable, appreciative and cordial representatives and don't mind paying for this service level.

Today I went into the store to get information and purchase flower bulbs. Their was an employee stocking a rack and I waited for her notice me as I didn't want to interrupt her. When sg=he finally turned to me I asked a question about the location of the bulbs and her curt reply was "there right in front of your nose when you walk in". I went over to the bulbs and had a another question which I asked the person at the register. Her answer was "I don't know".

I don't expect that they know all the answers, but I do expect a more courteous interaction. I walked out of the store without purchasing the bulbs and decided that I can get better service at or any lawn and garden store...

What just happened? I went to Agway today for a harness for my puppy, Scout. After a rough drive with a long wait at the scene of an accident, when I took her out of the crate she was covered in vomit. I brought her into the store to ask for paper towels, and not only got paper towels, but also a trash bag, a hose to wash her off with, a full watering can to bring to my car to clean out the crate, and help getting it all done! Thanks so much to Anna for her TLC for my pup and for making my day so much easier! You won a loyal customer today! While I enjoy shopping at Agway for my animals and landscaping needs I have to say I am very disappointed with their staff. While I was out at a local establishment enjoying my meal I was seated next to Agway employees all wearing their Agway shirts and sweatshirts. I was very upset with their disparaging remarks about the Brewster Animal Shelter. They were making very negative comments about the shelter were I have rescued all of my animals.
