I’ve always loved going here for many years. Safe area for kids and kept clean (for the most part) I have seen needle there and drinking bottles before. Everyone cleans up after themselves most of the time and loved seeing the people walking their dogs. There was something for everyone. The community would even pitch in to help after hurricanes and things that needed to be fixed. Recently noticed the no dogs allowed was very upsetting. Outdoor areas should not be allowed to do this especially with walking paths around “the trails.” This this being apart of “the trails,” seem strange that it has come this this. Especially since online it still says the park is dog friendly. To my knowledge there was no real reason for this other than maybe one or two upset people who are not dog friendly people. Which too that I would say, stay inside or go to the beach, but leave our walking...

The one circus mirror has probably been forgotten about, because it remained after renovation, but is severely scratched and scuffed. It still works well enough. There are also a few playsets outside of the main area. Some of the fencing is broken, and some flavor and minor parts are missing (pirate flag, weirdly placed ship wheels). There are few areas where a child could get...

Everywhere you look there are new surprises. Knights and magicians, pirates and sea monsters, rocket ships, school buses and fire trucks are just a few of the themes here. Somehow through creativity and brilliant planning, they have managed to build the entire playground among old oak trees that provide shade that covers every part of the park. As I walked through with my daughter, I could not find any areas that required maintenance. There are also plenty of benches and picnic areas within the playground for parents to relax as...
