I used to love coming here, as my favorite neurologist office is located here, there are several wonderful shops to visit, and a wonderful Italian restaurant. However, my last visit was a disaster. I tripped up handicap ramp, luckily help was near by, but when I got to the entrance and went to open the door, someone had already opened it across the top of my foot. I took couple steps in to counter with my assistive device and realized my sandal was filling with blood coming from the top of my big toe nail, foot, and second toe. I quickly sent my aid/driver to rest room for paper towels and asked for ice pack from the front desk staff after telling her what had just happened.
I was called back for my nerve sturdy & the Technician asked what had happened. I had informed her as well. (She was most helpful and bandaged my big toe with gauze and coban, as it wouldn't stop bleeding). I hadn't slept the night before this test, as it is a painful experience. I dreaded having them done. I was not looking forward to having them repeated, knowing neuropathy is progressive. I'm allergic to most medications used to treat it. There's probably nothing they are going to do for me other that tell me it's worse now, which is a no brainers, but it doesn't look good to refuse treatment, or tests either, so here I am like an obedient patient.
My surprise was no incident report, what happened to C.Y.A. clearly this was an accident, but it should have been documented. There were several witnesses, two who commented there should be an automatic door. I couldn't have agreed more, I've watched, and helped several disabled people myself, on days I was moving a little better. The door isn't exactly light, especially when you're trying to push in a walker, service dog, and God for bid you have a bottle of water, or...
Read moreThis beautiful plaza is really jacked-up. We had to find a top floor business and had to go into the middle to get there, then through one building to get to our busiess that we needed services from. Inside the Real Estate office was cheaply made, as a result it was noisy...in the waiting we heard the toilet flush through the wall everytime someone used the bathroom, the wayer ran from the ceiling through the bottom of the wall. How annoying to work there and listen to that all day...how disgusting and annoying! You have a gorgeous plaza with bad pipes and plumbing in the wall....
Read moreHonestly it's a beautiful area. I was dropping someone off for a doctor's appointment, so I walked around for a bit waiting for them to be done and I found a nice area to sit and relax. The sun was shining and it was hot so the water fountain was a nice addition with the ability to splash some water on myself. Looks to be like there are some pretty nice restaurants around the area not sure what else is here but it looks like there are quite a few businesses. I may have to take a trip I'm back here just to see what other...
