I seriously can’t say enough good things about Rosie’s.
I took my rescue dog there, yesterday. She is very fearful of new people and baths. I haven’t been able to bathe her at home, and the groomer I usually take fearful dogs was also unable to groom her.
I took my foster dog there, in hopes I could give her a bath. They allowed me to sit in the grooming area and work with her. She got in the tub willingly but was not ok with the water, so the bath didn’t happen. Still, we sat there and gave her treats and she allowed me to brush her.... which she never does at home.
The staff was so attentive and gave us lots of goodies to try. The woman at the counter was super patient and my dog even willingly took treats from her hand (which is AMAZING for her).
They didn’t charge me for the grooming, even though I used their brush, and welcomed me to come back and try to get her use to it as much as I needed too.
I will continue going back there and bring all my dogs back there!
In addition, it’s a pretty dang cool place with high quality goodies for your dogs. It’s also clean and laid out super functionally.
Thank you girls! I appreciate your...
Read moreI had SUCH a great experience at Rosie's that I had to come write a review. I'm just visiting Tucson, but I wish I lived here so I could wash my dogs here all the time.
This DIY dog wash is not only adorably themed (seriously, their decor is the cutest I've ever seen), but they also have everything you could possibly need: treats; a huge range of shampoos, conditioners, and leave-in products; ear cleaner; brushes and grooming tools; and very effective blow-driers. They even give you a warm cloth to wash your dog's face with—such a nice touch!
What really made me fall in love with Rosie's was how thoughtful they are about the experience for reactive dogs. One of my dogs is both reactive to other dogs and terrified of getting washed. They had us come in the back door and were welcoming and ready for us when we arrived. They also made the check-out process easy so she didn't have to keep an eye on the door and risk an encounter with another dog while we paid.
So few dog washes put any thought into the overall experience, especially for reactive dogs. I will not hesitate to come back here again and again when we're in town.

Read moreI truly cannot express my gratitude enough for the two people working today who showed me and my pup so much kindness and care. Our dog was very afraid of the bath and the folx working were so gentle, gave us lots of options to try (warm lavender scented face cloths, peanut butter licking mats, putting a towel on the floor of the tub for extra comfort, and more). They were so patient and made sure to reassure us that we did not have to rush and could spend however long we needed to try to get her comfortable. It unfortunately didn’t work out this time, but we will be back to try again. I was so glad they have separated, gated areas where I can unleash my dog. Each area is set up with multiple shampoos, ear cleaning solutions, driers, towels, brushes… just everything you will need! We had a wonderful experience and will definitely be returning, even if just for the gourmet treats!...
