JAMIE provided the absolute WORST photography experience EVER. We've already raised 1 kid so we've had plenty of photography experiences. Jamie should not be working with kids. She had my 9 month old in tears instantly. We live an hour away so baby had a nap, bottle, diaper change and dressed in her first outfit right before we went in. She's always happy and should have been all smiles. 15-20 pics taken and not a single genuine smile. Jamie had a helper this day. I think she was being trained. But she did nothing the entire time we were there except stand there, drink water and use the restroom. Stood in the studio the whole time but never once interacted with baby. Jamie wouldn't let my husband in the room to try and cheer up baby and make her smile. He was allowed to stand outside the studio behind a glass window. He is so mad he didn't get to interact or be any part of the photo experience. Was he really supposed to shout through a glass window to try and get baby to hear him or even see him? Completely absurd. He could have stood in the studio and the other girl could have been on the other side of the glass. At least he would have actually tried to help instead of just standing there mute. In the FAQ section online it says they will not photograph groups larger than 9. So you can have 11 ppl in the tiny studio at once (9 subjects and 2 photographers) but my husband isn't allowed in there? This was our 4th session at this studio. Every single time we've done 3 outfits and its never been an issue. Today is was a HUGE deal. SOOOO busy and backed up that Jamie doesn't even utilize her helper for even 1 minute. I'm not even sure why this other girl was there. She could have been watching training videos from a desk. Jamie will only allow 1 outfit change. She might be able to do the 3rd outfit but no promises. After we've done the first 2 outfits I ask if there is time to do the 3rd. She said No, there's 2 more appointments after mine. If I want to wander around the store with baby for an hour she could do it afterwards. I already paid for and ripped off the tags off of the 3rd outfit so I agree. We quickly change baby into her last outfit so that way were ready whenever Jamie is. While were there waiting, she calls the next client and asks if they can come in early. They agree. The other client canceled. So now the next client shows up and she's not dressed yet. So she changes and gets pics taken. Then she changes again and gets more pictures taken. After all the pics are done the woman changes her clothes again back into the clothes she came in wearing. So Jamie and her helper wait for this woman to change her outfit 3 times. I felt scolded over 1 outfit change. But this woman was allowed to change 3 different times. Jamie also made sure I knew that the time in the studio was about 15 minutes. Does JCP really hold true to that when it comes to babies? I could see young a child that understands the words like "smile" and how to follow posing instructions. But a baby is a little different. They don't understand what that means and they require a little more patience. Especially when Jamie makes the baby cry and she gives off the mean person vibe. We finally get the last outfit photographed. After I make my picture purchasing decisions Jamie points out that the original cost before any discounts was close to $850. After discounts my cost was $350. Sorry to burst your bubble Jamie, but nobody will ever pay $850 for your 15 mins of services. Someone google "mini photo session" This is exactly what JCP offers but its double the cost of anywhere else. Jamie's demeanor completely ruins the experience. Not fun and not enjoyable. She said that the GM fired everyone here cuz they weren't following the rules. GM should've fired her. She obviously treats everyone like garbage. I asked for a rule book and she said there might be one in the FAQ section online. If she is going to scold customers about what to do or bring then she should have a rule...
Read moreI don’t know where to even begin. I am beyond disappointed with Jaime the worker. I took my kid there yesterday at 4:30pm and I was on time. To then be told I was late. This is my daughter’s first birthday and first Christmas with Santa. She was rushing me, asking me why my child wasn’t showing her teeth, she had no time for me to change my daughter into another outfit, my mom was in the photo with my daughter and she didn’t give my mom time to pose. The photos I got were very blurry. I tried talking to her and she didn’t even give me the chance to be heard. These are my child first moments and memories that I will not get back when she grows up. I can’t believe this is even happening. Never did I have this problem before. I will not be booking here again. I wish I didn’t even give it a star. I have to so I...
