Read moreI am writing in regards to an issue I have, regarding their rebate "system." Over a year ago, my mother purchased tile to redo her entire large kitchen floor. In excess of well over $500.00. I sent her rebate in, handing it directly to our mail carrier. She has yet to receive the rebate check! I went to our Menards and asked to speak to the manager. I was asked why, and when I explained, was given a rebate "coupon" and told to contact THEM and that Menards has nothing to do with rebates. ????? When I got home and gave my mother the card, she said there was no phone number. So I called and spoke with a manager who said, also, that they have nothing to do with it and to contact the company. Which, apparently, doesn't exist!!! No access to their "website" and so,again, had no way to contact ANYONE to recover my mother's money. We used to go to Menards for all of our home improvement needs and I went there for gardening supplies. However, after this experience......where they are making NO effort to rectify this matter but instead insist on "passing the buck" we will never, again, shop there and we tell everyone we...
Read moreMenards put a flyer in my mail that was advertising grills on sale. Advertised a 6 burn charbroil for 280 after rebate. Checked stock on it 1 day after flyer and closest Menards that has 1 in stock was 28 miles away..I go to pick it up and none are in stock. I see how much it be to order 1 and shipping was going to be 298$ more than the gril. So I come back to my local Menards in Montgomery that was also advertised as 4 burn charbroil gas grill for 185 with 2 in stock... I get there and one is labeled defective and the other is the floor model that they won't sell.... Overall wasted 3 hrs and half hrs of my day looking for grills they advertised that don't exist. Super poor experience because Menards marks their floor models as in stock when they aren't and allows defective models to be counted as stock. Would not recommend shopping here. Edit changing review from a 1 start to a 2 due to it been over a week and they grill they had me pre- order still isnt in which they told me be a few days at max........... will have to look into doing a charge back for...
