Empty Shelves, stock in back, and employees REFUSE to go get it, because it is the, vendors' job... The kiosks around the store do not work. Each week, I go to buy my family their Diet Coke. Each week, there are none on the shelves. Each week, I try to find an employee, and then resort to the help kiosk, which gives an error message, then after wasting 40 minutes of my time...I go to locate a human in a red shirt. I will ask the employee in the red shirt tp be sure that they indeed have the Diet Coke in the bottles in stock...to which their count shows that they generally have 45-50 in the back...but...since their Vendor has not placed them on the shelf, they have to go find them...which they do NOT want to do. Today, after going through this for almost an hour, I asked the employee to call for a manager. She was scared to, and asked for Sara ETL, who refused, another ETL refused, then a very angry and sleep deprived ETL came over and told me that he was not even going to look, because just because it says that there are 46 in the back, doesnt mean that there is. I told him I only needed 4...so...we had a good chance of 4/46 being there. He argued some more, and I informed him that I go through this each week, go through the kiosk, look for employees, lose employees that go back never to come back out, etc...and he said, "FINE!!! I WILL GO LOOK...BUT THAT DOESNT MEAN THERE WILL BE ANY!!!" We agreed that was a solution as he huffed off. Ten more minutes of waiting, and I decided that I was over an hour trying to beg to buy something...to then look forward to being treated horribly through self checkout...and decided that I dont need anything from this ungrateful disgrace of corporate greed at all,...
Read moreHad a not great experience with the customer service counter. Brought back a wedding gift that was damaged on Sunday, 1/21 around 4:30 pm. The woman who was helping is tried returning the money back to the form of payment, we had to stop her by saying it was a gift- so she cashed it out on a gift card without talking to us or listening to us. When she tried handing me the gift card, I said it was bought with a 5% target circle discount… she said, “yes and..?” And I said so we would have to pay the $20? Is there anyway to just make this an even exchange since it was a gift? She had an attitude, and took the gift card back, handed us the gift back, cancelled it all out, said there was nothing else she could do. I asked to speak with a manager, she said she was one, I asked to speak with someone higher in rank than her, she said she was the highest there and pushed the wedding gift closer to us and told us to have a good night. It was incredibly rude, unprofessional, and not helpful. Made the experience very stressful, even though one of the reasons we built a wedding registry through Target was the promise of easy returns/exchanges. What is even worse is that the woman “helping us” was training of all things. I called Rogers Target, they said to come on over and they’d fix it all for us. Rogers took care of everything for us. We won’t be returning to the Otsego Target for any customer service, that’s for sure and I’d recommend that everyone else drive a little further to Rogers or Monticello if they can to save themselves...
Read moreI’ve been meaning to write this review for over 2 years... Now I love Target. Who doesn’t? Clean, friendly store.. Not loving the new layout, it’s physically difficult to maneuver a cart through all those annoying mini displays that are everywhere. (What happened to your nice, clean lines and wide aisles?!) BUT the deli service at this location is absolutely ridiculous. It’s seriously insane. I’m a very patient person. (I’ve been a toddler teacher at a preschool for many years. Patience is my strong suit) The deli counter at this lotion is terrible. Every. Single. Time. (And for some reason I’m still there once a week...) Never fails- if no one is in line the staff barely glance at you and keep going about whatever their doing without even a “I’ll be right with you” acknowledgement. I get that you have stuff to do, but a simple smile goes a long way while someone is waiting. You’ll legit stand there for 5 min without a hello. Once you’re finally helped, be prepared to stand there for 5-10 more minutes while they prep your stuff. (And I’m not getting anything crazy. 1/2lb ham & 1/2 cheese) Today put me over the edge. Only one woman before me (getting hardly anything) and she told me she’s been there 15 min. By the time she’s done and I’m done I have stood there for TWENTY-FOUR MINUTES. 24. For some ham and cheese. Why?!! I’m not even exaggerating. I timed my wait on my phone. Every other employee in the building is polite, overly helpful, and kind... but my goodness the deli staff needs...
