Pros: World class customer service security/shipping Incredibly well oiled efficient organized in and out process (Record 10 minutes you can be checked in, drop, hook, check out) Plenty on maneuvering area for docking and drop/hook. Organized clean well lit lot with clear direction on ground and posted signs, besides security politely and professionally makes sure you understand directions. Clean indoor bathroom 🚽 Overnight parking 🅿️ bobtailed along fence upon dropping empty as directed. 24/7 available phone ☎️ customer see once to check load status. Early pick up acceptable if load ready.

Cons: Can easily miss the leading road into facility as it appears as a non-truck route but it is. Look out for BP gas station.

Tip: For quick efficient processing, Vest, run-start reefer upon arrival, open door, slide tandems. Top up reefer and the do have wash out, check with your dispatch. Pilot 15mins away Mom n pops wash outs within range, blue beacon quite a distance if independent contractor.

Production Floor is slow on turn around on both loading and unloading. Security is a Champ. They get you in and out in no time at all when load is ready or when checking in. They do have and maintain a clean restroom for drivers waiting on loads. There is hot coffee and there are local food vendors that do deliver there to Tyson, just ask for the food list. There is a Wal-Mart and plenty of choices for food nearby. For those needing a Trailer Washout, there is a great washout facility just a half mile down the road from Tyson Plant. Only complaint is that closest Scale is a couple of miles east of Tyson on I-80 at the Road Ranger or a cross the street from it @ the Mom&Pap Truck Stop . Tyson does tend to overload...

Not a bad Tyson. Expect to wait and you won't be disappointed. Sometimes the load is ready, early, before I arrive, sometimes I sit till the ddt or after. Slide tandems back at gate. Trailer clean and fueled (doesn't need to be precooled if you're drop n hooking). Wear your hivis. Guards will take your info and tell you where to drop. Overnight parking (bobtail mostly). You can leave bt and come back whenever if you want, there's a Walmart just down the road. Also a 24/7 wash a block away. Restroom in the guard shack. Main drawback really is they don't do a call list, don't call you when your load is ready, you have to call them and keep checking on...
