Yesterday evening I stopped in at this Culver’s after being in the hospital for days, as everyone knows hospital food is no good so my wife and I decided to get some good food after leaving the hospital. We get to the speaker and the person on the speaker was excellent in helping me place my order, there was no confusion he was very informative and I was delightfully impressed with the service at that point so I decided to give the gentleman a compliment because I had never experienced a better customer service at a drive thru speaker in my life, and I was feeling generous in that moment and I’m not a person that gives out compliments on a whim especially when someone doesn’t deserve it, and I have to say when I got a mediocre thank you that was very monotone and had no passion behind it in return I felt extremely disrespected because I took the time to complement someone who did their job beautifully and I get that in return. I’m an active believer in respecting people when you receive a compliment and when I heard that I was in shock from being disrespected like that, now aside from the lackluster service from the server at the window the food was amazing it was the best food I’ve had in days after being in the hospital so hats off to the cooks thank you for making that the only pleasant experience I had yesterday. I will not be returning to this Culver’s for some time based on this experience because I will not be disrespected like that and that’s why I’m here writing this review because I just wanted to be nice and raise someone’s spirits. I was only trying to be nice to this guy and he gave me nothing but disappointment and disrespect so because of this experience I will never complement someone at a fast food drive thru again because I do not appreciate the way I was disrespected and as a precaution to anyone that wants to give a compliment to anyone here don’t waste your time trying to be nice because you’ll be...
Read moreI stayed in the area two days and visited this Culver’s twice — once for lunch and once for dinner. I had a mixed experience. Ordered in person at lunch and dined in the restaurant. The young man who took my order was polite, personable, and efficient. The food came out hot and was good. There was a QR code at my table indicating orders could be placed online for delivery to the table, so I ordered a vanilla malt. After waiting 20 minutes with no malt delivery, I went to the counter. The young man I talked to was very apologetic and offered to upsize my malt, which I appreciated but did not accept. Note to self: avoid ordering at the table. The next day I went in at dinner (6 PM). There was only one person taking orders even though there were multiple employees chatting with each other. Rather than wait in line, I placed my order through the website for carry out. The site told me to proceed to the pick up area, but I didn’t see any signs indicating where that is. After several minutes and spotting a bag sitting on a shelf next to the counter, I asked if that was my order, and it was. The food was still warm, so I don’t think it was there long. Nevertheless, I had indicated that I had arrived on the order page, and if someone had said “order for (my name), I would have responded. Dinner service seemed lacking....
Read moreFood was amazing, I have been going to this location for a few weeks since I am traveling for work, and I have always been coming for lunch, and they are always to fast to get me and my crew fresh hot food all the while keeping the place amazing.
We went one day and they had a new hire and a lovely lady was showing how to clean the tables to make the customer experience great, and they were just to the table next to us and she apologized for "disturbing" our meal, and we all replied that she was not. This made me feel 100% better knowing the tables get cleaned as often that they do, and they also check to make sure no gum is stuck under the tables which was also very amazing to see,
Thought Culver's has been labeled a "Fast food" place this location has made it feel like a normal dine in restaurant. They are so friendly and nice, it is very welcoming to see and most definitely will keep coming back to this location as I continue to travel up to Ottowa, and if I do again...
