Very rude staff and poor customer service! I have heard from an employee that works there that there has been a lot of theft at Teaella and that people are putting hangers behind the mirrors in the dressing rooms and stealing clothes! As a result, the staff has become increasingly rude and paranoid.
They now prefer if the customers hand the sales associates the items of clothing that they want to try on right away! While you are trying on clothes, the sales associates stand right outside your dressing room and instead of asking how something fits, they instead ask if you are done trying the piece of clothing on so that you can hand it back to them.
Meghan and Rachel are the worst employees! Meghan has created scenes in the store by accusing people of theft after they have already paid. She has made customers come back into the store to account for where an item of clothing that was picked up was put back at. The manager informed me after speaking with her that they would be undergoing "sensitivity training" with their employees! In my opinion, they need to do more than that!
If you want to have a bad shopping experience then I highly recommend shopping at Teaella! There are so many other amazing boutiques in the KC area that have cute clothes as well as employees that will value you as a customer! Unfortunately, Teaella is not one of them! It is really a shame since they have really...
Read moreThis Boutique is AMAZING! I happen to be in the area and stopped in for a KC Chiefs Tshirt today. I am so thankful I did. They had such a cute, unique and large selection of KC Chiefs shirts, coordinating jackets and accessories. It was refreshing to be able to purchase a KC Chiefs shirt and not have to look like a Rally House commercial like everyone else. The staff were all so nice and made me feel so welcome. Even though the boutique was busy, I watched as they kept a conversation going with each individual focusing on what they needed and wanted, answering all questions etc. All of the clothing, shoes and accessories were so cute. The prices were very affordable and they also had a clearance room full of amazing items, no overstocked items in weird sizes etc actual merchandise that was as wonderful as current full priced items. Unfortunately even previous high end department stores seem to have fast fashion now days, so if you would like to experience real fashion you should make this your 1st stop. I am actually now excited about what I will be wearing for the holidays this year thanks to my new favorite...
Read moreHonestly, they were so rude. My mom, sister, and I walked in after going to the gym, so we looked sweaty and not very nice. Not a single employee spoke to us when we walked in. After walking around for a couple of minutes, one of the employees started to talk to me but then said, "oops, sorry I thought you were my co-worker" and then proceeded to walk away. She did not greet me, did not ask if I needed help or anything.
With that being said, we came in to buy multiple different products but decided to leave and take our business somewhere else because we were treated poorly based on how we looked. This is not the first time I have had this happen in this store.
I know when we walk into Nordstroms, Lulu Lemon, or any other luxury brand store after working out, we are still treated with pure respect. We are also very frequent fliers in Nordstrom and Lulu Lemon, so we are obviously good for our money.
It would be nice to be treated well when shopping locally, but I guess I will have to get dressed up for...
