This place has a good selection of affordable furniture. However, if you donāt want to deal with unprofessional staff, incompetency, and inconsistent information this place is not for you. I under stand staff shortage and turnover but there were times I would walk in and not get greater for 30 mins or more. Times Iāve walked out because of it. Iāve gotten furniture delivered before they were delivering the incorrect item (wrong size bed) and they wold have never known but I checked it. Therefore they had to turn around and go get the correct item. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt because they provide jobs for people who may have a hard time getting them I noticed. I recently went back for a coin h. Again⦠people just do not acknowledge you and there could be 7 workers in the store. I stopped in 3 times total. Finically seen something I liked and had to be a little more assertive to get attention. I order a couch. Had to put the delivery out for when I would be home. Something told me to call and check. The representative put me on the wrong delivery date (next Friday) a week later. Though we clearly talked about and itās documented the 18th on my paperwork. So now I have to wait around all day until possibly 6 oāclock for a delivery when I was supposed to be in the first set of deliveries. I have a feeling it wouldnāt have been on the list if I hadnāt pressed the issue just now. 2nd time they screws up my delivery. (That they charge for) Never once have I asked for a delivery refund just expedite my furniture because itās a mess up on American Freight end not mine. .
Update hours later I called (asked for a manager on staff which was Charles)to verify that my furniture was on the truck for delivery since time was leaving for my ātodayā delivery. I was told at that time they were gathering my order and they will check in 10 mins. 30 mins later**Charles called back and stated that the āfoundā the sectional but the only piece they had available is damaged and could sell it. I asked how is that when I order the sectional the first day on the floor and it was TOLD to me that they had several. It was paid for that day which was over a week ago from today. My order should have been secured. But unfortunately it wasnāt and the customer service was GOD awful with Charles. He offered no logical solution. The first one he offer was a refund. I told him itās finance and basically they are paid and he said well the finance company will issue you a refund then bye(basically). The staff was helpful, courteous, and kind throughout my whole furniture purchase, and financing transaction. A sales Representative by the name of Dellante was awesome. Dellante greeted me with a big smile. He went out if his way to make sure that I found what I was looking for. He took his time to help, and never rushed me while looking for what I desired to buy. He didn't try to pressure sale me anything, which is a big turn off to me. I bought everything I desired to get in a great package deal. He helped me from beginning to the end of my shopping experience, leading to a purchase. I love my package deal choice of furniture, which was a complete bedroom set, and a sectional too. I've gotten a lot of compliments on my furniture, and I still do. I went back today to purchase a reclining love seat. I called the store at the Page Avenue location to make sure that Dellante was working today; and thank God he was! He helped me today. Again, Dellante greeted me with a big smile, and he helped me pick out exactly what I was looking for. I bought a beautiful reclining love seat, and Dellante made sure it matched the furniture that I had bought last year. Dellante is a model example of a great Sales Representative. He's definitely a great asset to America Freight. Please continue to compensate him for what he's worth, because he's truly great at what he does at American Freight. People like Dellante are hard to find in the sales field. Because of him caring for me as a customer, and always making sure that I find what I'm looking for, and leave happy, means the world to me. His character and integrity shows in his work, and service to people. Whenever I come back, he'll be the one I'll always ask for to help me. I've been telling my family and friends, about America Freight, and Dellante's exceptional service; and how blessed I am to have Dellante always available to help me. I looked online at alot of furniture stores, before going into the showrooms. American Freight seem to be reasonable with my budget and had delivery that didn't take 4 weeks or more. I went in to the showroom and Kayla help me out. I read all the signs and I also made a few calls before just buying anything. I made the decision to buy furniture from this place and I felt satisfied. Here is were they lost me as a customer and a referral person. The delivery was horrible and I couldn't get upset to much because I'm pregnant. When I brought this furniture I thought I had a understanding about the delivery process. I waited a whole day on the furniture to arrive at night during the storm. The waiting was not the problem. When they got here it started to rain heavily and they wanted the money asap. That was my first issue. When doing a service for me you tip start at 20% based on how well you provide the service. Strike number one was rushing after I waited all day patiently. I told them they could park in the driveway because it was storming but they parked on the street. Strike number two because now everything will be wet. Strike number three the old furniture in the way and I asked before buy the furniture at the store could it be moved for me and they said yes. The delivery guys said that they didn't say that and whoever did must not wanted the job because my furniture was still at the store at 7 o'clock PM. I guess that form with my information doesn't get passed on to the delivery company. Strike number four the excuses and who do what and no resolution but four pieces of furniture in a small living room and someone on a walker to try and maneuver around it.
