Operation Food Search Inc — Local services in Overland

We were so excited to bring a donation to Operation Food Search but we didn't feel as if they cared and didn't especially need it. The warehouse was filled with food from floor to ceiling. It didn't look like anyone should go without food. The woman at the front desk was very busy with her phone. I just hope she was a volunteer and not a paid employee. That comes across as rude. Also I didn't know their correct lingo- I said 'food pantry' and the woman at the desk thought it was necessary to inform me that it wasn't a food pantry but a food Bank! She had to say it as if I would be tested on that information next time. I asked if they needed volunteers- twice but never got an answer. I tried donating at another food pantry but they didn't seem appreciative either. Too bad for the people...
