Dispo Smoke — Local services in Owensboro

Just to edit and add we have been coming here on and off since they have opened and they used to be amazing and make sure everything was great, now they just want you pay for it and run and do not care the quality they claim to care about! We recently went in and bought a Modern Herb Co 510 screw on and in was burnt out and tasting gross after 2 hits, so thinking this place is great and will take care of me ill go in and tell them whats up...... Well Tristian will just make you feel dumb and try and offer 20% off after they sold you something gross and messed up even after we went back last night the employee working tasted and even said ewww this is messed up.. I WOULD LEAVE LESS THAN ONE STAR IF I COULD!!!!!! I only came back to shop here for modern herb co products but ill just stick to the site for modern herb co from now on they have never left me hanging or made my wife or me feel dumb talking to them. so long story short will never ever be back and shouting to the moon never ever shop with Dispo Smoke. Hate it because we love supporting small businesses but man look at what they doing here. It isnt about the customer Tristian just saying oh i have many burnt ones too i just push threw it?!?!?! like thats not customer...

I’ve supported this business multiple times and even brought others here — but after my most recent visit, I’ll never be back.

When I politely mentioned I had left my ID and was stepping out to get it, I was met with disrespectful, immature behavior from two employees (a tall white male and a short Black female). They laughed and pointed at me as I walked out — completely unprofessional.

What’s worse, this business operates in a very questionable way. They allegedly hand out pre-rolls if you say “rubber ducky,” clearly implying they’re distributing marijuana behind the counter. They push low-quality wax under their own brand, “jurts,” and upsell CBD drinks that are potentially harmful. The ID policy is inconsistent — they check when they want and ignore it when it benefits them.

This is not a business that belongs in downtown Owensboro. It’s unprofessional, unsafe, and a poor reflection of the community. My company, Only Empire Creations, will no longer support or send clients their way. They need to be held...
