I will say the beer list was extensive. They have lots of options, and that's a big bonus for them, and I usually have a great time. However, recently I went in for a veggie pizza because it is Lent and the pizza I ordered originally comes with olives, but I have a food sensitivity to olives and can't eat it and informed my server of this and asked that it be replaced with banana peppers, and was told it wouldn't be a problem. The pizza came out with the olives AND banana peppers, which is an honest mistake, but I can't eat it nor can I pick off the olives, because if I eat one by accident, then I'm going to have bad digestive problems. I don't usually do this, but I had to send it back. The server was very apologetic and said she'd have them remake it. I didn't mind to wait, I know on a busy Friday night it can take a while. But my pizza came back maybe 5 minutes later. I was surprised and concerned because there was no way if they made a whole new pizza that it was done that quickly. I turned the pan a bit to check, and sure enough, olives. They had just picked through the pizza and brought it back out, they hadn't even gotten them all. If i wasn't sensitive to the olives, I would have picked them off myself. I'm pretty sure, but I could be wrong, that that is a heal violation of some sort. It's really gross at any measure that they just picked it over, but I had informed the waitress initially, and when they brought out the wrong pizza that it was due to a food sensitivity, so that was twice. So they are not food sensitivity friendly, that is for sure, which is concerning because they offer gluten free pizzas and that done incorrectly can cause worse problems than the olives on my pizza would have. Anyway, they did finally make a brand new pizza, and they didn't charge me for it, though I do usually insist on paying, I didn't this time because it's just super not okay. I’ve had good experiences here before, granted it’s been a couple years. This time however, was mediocre at best. We dined on October 1st in the evening as an early birthday dinner for my fiancé. This was a Sunday evening, was not particularly busy. We’re seated, look a bit, order an appetizer. One of the appetizer or pizza plates (empty and to be used at our own discretion) had dried on food and we have to request another plate. I then realize we have yet to receive any cutlery, and get our server again, to help us with that. We order, several minutes following, I’m asked if all spinach is fine for my entree as they’re out of greens. Having worked in food service management, I understand this, but also know that if I decline, I’ll be changing my order and getting my food significantly after my fiancé, and have a feeling the rest of the dish was already started on by this point, anyway. I really did not want to be more difficult. We get our food; it’s okay. Our server comes to ask if everything is okay, and we alert them that we will need a box. Meanwhile, they’re sitting and chatting with other tables that are not even their direct clients. I went up to the bar to ask another employee for a box, didn’t really feel like waiting any longer for our server to realize we had been forgotten. I always tip well, understanding that in this economy, I’m not going to short someone for poor service, though honestly I should have done just that. Well, this was the 2nd time we tried this restaurant. We were here is 2022 and the food was acceptable but the wait, and food expositing was sub par. It can happen. All restaurants have off days. So we were back in town today and because the vibe is kind of fun we decided to try it again. Big mistake. We received our text to be seated. We went to the desk and we're kind of ignored then I was direct and was told another 10-15 minutes. We already had 40 minutes invested in waiting - we should have taken it as a sign. Our server was polite. But, once again the food expediting was horrible. We had no silverware when food was served. We had to find our own ketchup. One member of the party got her burger than 20 minutes later got her tots. Over an hour from the first member of the party to the last to get their food. My husband's sandwich was a hoagie roll that was basically grilled onions and peppers and hardly any sausage. There were 7 of us. 2 checks. We were offered a single $10 off coupon for our next visit and no charge for the late, cold tots. I said how about $10 off each bill now. Which was more than a generous request on my part since both bills were $80+. We never complain about food prices. We have no issues paying for good food and service.
