I bought the Overly reclining sofa and the Overly chair and a half recliner in November of 2015. They told me that it would be January before it could be delivered but they called and was able to deliver in December. I was so happy because I wanted it by Christmas with family coming in. Before the end of January I noticed that the foam in the seat cushion and footrest began to wrinkle up under the fabric. It really began to look bad and I was actually ashamed for anyone to see it. I called Ashley Furniture at the end of February and spoke with a wonderful lady named Katie. She told me that she would have to order the foam and when it came in they would call me and schedule a time for the technician to come out and fix it. I called back every week wondering if the foam had come in. Katie told me no and that it sometimes takes awhile for replacement parts to come in. By the end of March I was beginning to think that I was getting the run around. I could not believe that it took this long for a piece of foam to come in. When I called the first full week of April Katie told me that it was due in that week. Sure enough it came in at the end of the week and the technician called and we set up an appointment. Today the technician arrived. His name is Matt and I was extremely impressed with his bubbly personality, friendliness and knowledge of the job that needed to be done. I watched him take the seat and footrest apart to where it was only the fabric. Of course I'm getting a little nervous wondering if my $800.00 recliner was going to look and sit like it did when I bought it. I also told him that I could feel a board at the bottom of the footrest. I am so impressed at the quality of work and impressed at the workmanship that Matt provided. My chair sits better than when I bought it and looks brand new again. I just want to say Thank You to both Katie and Matt for a job well done. It was a pleasure doing business with Ashley 's Furniture and an honor to have had a rewarding experience with the service department. Kudos to Katie and Matt.    Read moreHave not been impressed at all with overall process, due to lack of communication between sales person and order and delivery staff. We ordered our furniture 2 months before our house was built strategically so we would have our furniture delivered the day we moved in, living room furniture shows up and not only are the couches the wrong color they left off the selected recliner off the delivery invoice all together. We sent everything back and called to correct the delivery info and were told they werenât sure when the correct furniture would be delivered but they expected all three pieces to be delivered at different times throughout the month of August to first week of September. 1st day of September arrives and they come to deliver the furniture to find the only piece they brought was one couch out of three of the total pieces. I called to get an update on delivery of the other pieces and the girl on the phone basically had no idea when they would be ready but said as of right now guessed the 21st of September which is another 3 weeks away and she was definitely in a hurry to get off the phone with me and not be very helpful at all. Mind you the original day we bought and ordered all this was MAY 25th!! So weâve been in our new house with virtually no furniture to sit on for going on 2 months. Wonât be ordering from...
   Read moreIâve have had the worst experience with delivery and the store manager Nathan. I had four different deliveries and three different dressers delivered, and they were all damaged. I eventually had to go up to Ashley furniture store on two separate occasions because I had been emailing Megan and she either would not respond or not try to help. I got no where with her. The store manager Nathan was rude to my father and I, when all we said was everything that we have been through since OCTOBER and itâs February now. Instead of ordering us a damaged free dresser. âThat we paid forâ We had to settle for the store display model. When we arrived at the store Nancy greeted us and assured up that delivery was great and we should receive damaged free items. Which in our case we did not. Extremely dissatisfied of the way we were treated from customers service and that the item we purchased. It wasnât an issue for them to take my money from my account but there has been an issue to resolve this matter. I do not think, I have been treated fairly. Or have not been compensated for the time and effort I have had to put into my purchase. Which should have been handled in a more professional way. I donât know whatâs more disappointing.
