Unfortunately I did not have a good experience at Urban Farmhouse. I noticed the signage "Urban Farmhouse" as I was passing through Palatka. I decided to stop in hopes of discovering some unique furnishing for a client. Upon entering I received NO greeting from the sales associate. I attempted to engage in conversation with her, asking about the store and how long it had been open. She responded, "5 years". I wanted to inquire more about some of the beautiful and unique furnishings I saw, but felt uncomfortable asking her. I noticed the stairs and asked her were there additional pieces to see upstairs. She responded "No". I was curious to learn about the cafe next door and its connection. So I asked if the hours were the same. She said "No". That's when I told her that it felt like I had to pull information from her. She quickly blurted out the days and times, while browsing through a magazine barely giving me any eye contact. I only hope that no other customer leaves "Urban Farmhouse" feeling like they wish they never set foot...
Read moreWalked in today 6/4/25 and was fairly put off by the visit. My family and I walked around for about five minutes and not a single word was said to any of us before we left. The only form of acknowledgment was a gentleman who maybe worked there who smiled at us. Granted- there was a lot happening with unpacking things for the shop and a couple of children helping out, but a simple “hello” would have made a kind difference.
