If you’re thinking about going to Mariachiles.. DONT! We just got an order to go and they messed up our order of almost $60 and refuse to fix it. One order had an allergy specification to not put queso on it and to substitute it with the red sauce and they poured cheese all over everything in the box, Two other orders were spilling out of their boxes, One was supposed to be on soft taco shells and were on hard, which isn’t that big of a deal, but when I called to tell them our order was wrong they told me that they were NOT ABLE TO PUT A BASIC GROUND BEEF TACO ON A SOFT TORTILLA?? Which we got whenever we went there for dine in. Then when I asked if they could remake the one that was supposed to not have cheese because it was almost $15 and Its not like I was just being picky and difficult, I literally will not be able to breath if I eat it because of an allergy, they said they couldn’t because it was Sunday 45mins before closing and that if I still wanted it tomorrow I could order it again and come pick it up. Then said they do not have the money and cant afford to refund me and that there was nothing else they could do. A couple weeks ago we got an order to go and they gave us the complete wrong order and when I called and spoke to the owner she told me she would give me a store credit under my name and phone number and said we would have no problem to just let our server know I have a credit and they would handle it. We went a few days later to dine in and when it was time to pay the son of the owner told me that he would not honor what anyone said over the phone and told me that it was his mom and she didn’t know what she was talking about. After 30mins of arguing with him and him calling his mom he finally gave me the credit. So that’s why we decided to give them a second chance tonight, which was a huge mistake. Just thought I would warn everyone before you waste your...
Read moreWe really love Mexican food and we're just passing through on the way home from a funeral. The menu I received had salsa all inside of it, which tells me it didn't get wiped down after it's last use. We ordered a queso for $7 and it was literally just a salsa bowl. I worked in a Mexican food restaurant for 7 years and a small bowl like that is typically $3 and a large bowl was always $6-$8. The waitress was very nice. I ordered 2 enchiladas with queso on top with rice and beans and it was okay, just a little greasy. My husband's, on the other hand, was horrible. He ordered one enchilada and one burrito with rice and beans. It was extremely greasy and the red sauce, which I didn't get, was extremely runny and tasted like it was made weeks prior. He only ate some of the rice and beans and some of the enchilada. The waitress asked if he wanted a box and he said no and politely explained that it was horrible. She just said okay and brought our check. No discount, apologies, remake, or anything. Needless to say, we will NOT be back, that is for sure. And we definitely will not be referring anyone to go here.
Update For the comment below in which I cannot reply, I was born in the 90s, so that isn't the case. I have not, even in the last year, paid that much for a salsa bowl of queso. And we will gladly take our business to a restaurant that has quality food, queso for 4.99 for a decent size bowl and way better flavor, and who clearly care about their customers. It is VERY apparent that you do not care for yours, and that is a shame. You did nothing by commenting but be disrespectful and prove as to why people should not go to your restaurant. Have a...
Read moreSinglehandedly the worst dining experience I have had in my entire life. Came in on a Friday, not extremely busy and waited about 10 minutes before our waiter even came over to our table to drop off menus or silverware. He then immediately asked us what we wanted to drink before we could open our menus. I ordered a frozen margarita with salt just well liquor and instead he brings me a top shelf patron margarita on the rocks. Ok whatever I think, I’ll drink it. My friend and i order steak fajitas because it’s $2 off fajitas on Friday and then I order a queso appetizer. The queso was obviously heated in a microwave and the middle of the bowl was freezing cold so I sent it back to be warmed. It was liquid like thick milk when it was returned and still not hot. Our fajitas arrive and the steak is absolutely horrible. Basically chewed up little pieces of rejects from when they butcher an animal for steak. Definitely not worth 13.99. Worse than meat used in a gas station philly cheese steak and normal price was 14 dollars. It came with barely cooked green peppers and some gross looking tomatoes. I ate about half of it and so did my friend, we looked at each other and we had started sweating and realized the food was making us sick. We waited an additional 20 minutes for our waiter to finally come over to get our cards to pay. NOT ONCE THROUGH THE MEAL WERE WE ASKED IF WE NEEDED REFILLS OR IF OUR FOOD WAS OK ETC. Really pathetic management and service, I wish I could rate this restaurant zero stars because it should not even be open. Avoid this establishment like the plague. I am writing this after vomiting my meal and am...
