As a disabled veteran, dad, and young professional who relocated here with motivation to lay down some roots for my two young daughters, I am appalled at the treatment we received living here only 1 yr. 2 mos. after relocating. Residents are evil and vindictive but the POA lifts them up to keep their properties occupied and revenue up. They hate children the most, especially the well-behaved ones. The on-site security exists solely for the purpose of adding a line item to their expense reports. They sit at playgrounds napping at night and cite vehicles with made-up violations in the morning, similar to mall parking lot cops. If your window motor in your car goes overnight you have exactly "24 hours to remedy" before your vehicle can be towed at your expense for being unsightly ("eye-sore" as their rule book calls it). You can't even own a pick-up truck unless you park it out off-site or if it has a cover. Further, they target renters, home owner's who try to reason, discourage visitation/guests (family or not) and reject absolutely any and every person that has a differing opinion. Not to mention each individual community submits to a sub HOA and respective fee on top of the POA fees. To summarize, I feel guilty for relocating my family to such a nasty living environment. Please save yourselves by not considering any PGA POA property as a forever home. Well, unless you can drink the Kool-Aid so to speak. 0.5...
