Can you please franchise and I want in! This pizza was the best pizza I have ever had hands down. I hate even saying that, because I try and leave room for someone else out there to do better. But I just don't believe it can be done. Well freaking done Florida! Who would have thought this is were I'd find it. Unbelievably well seasoned throughout. Especially the pepperoni. Not sure what he's doing to those things, but dang, you know there's love involved. The cheese was astonishingly unique and cooked to perfection. You know...with those beautiful brown speckled burnt bubbles perfectly spaced out. Sauce was good as your grandmother's. Fresher, too. You're lying to yourself if you don't agree. The crust was like a corner brownie. Perfect blend of chewy and crispy that creates a texture paradise in your mouth. Lastly, the people who work there. They welcomed us in like a 1950s italian family welcoming their long lost son back to enjoy a home cooked meal. Why do I say that...? Ummm, because we called to order a pizza when they had already been closed for 30 mins. The lady kindly answered the phone and said, "we're closed, but let me check if the ovens are still hot." They were off, but they had just turned them off, so she said it would take a minute to warm back up, but we could order a pizza if we'd like. We ordered a plain pepperoni. We then walk in about 5 minutes before 10 pm (they close at 9) to a still fully staffed restaurant that all welcomed us in and were grateful for us to be there. Are you kidding? Most restaurants I eat at complain or give dirty looks if I walk past their door 30 mins before they close. I love pizza already and love trying new places and rating them. Well, my search is over for the best. Even my girlfriend who doesn't care for pizza became a pizza lover tonight. She suggested we go back tomorrow (easy convince) because it was also the best pizza that her beautiful mouth had ever tasted. So that ladies and gentlemen is why I would buy into a franchise tomorrow if they'd let me when I walk in for my...

Wasn't going to get pizza but happened to see it on my way to Publix and heard all the accolades... So decided to go in and just get a test slice which i usually do anyways but didn't get the whole mushroom and sausage pie this time.
They were training a new girl and that made ordering one slice a pretty painful experience but it's understandable, just that with the manager there, i would explain to the customer sorry for the delay blah blah... And a smile, especially when i told him i was getting a test slice because i heard good things, would have been nice but i felt like it was something of a banal non event, so i was like... Ok. Keep in mind most of the other places acted with a bit more fervor and some didn't even charge my for the slice (but to be fair, those places i did order a pie with it.)
So with that stellar start, the slice was well cooked, maybe slightly overcooked maybe 10%... Keep in mind I've had crispy pizza without having it overcooked at all, so wood fired or char grilled whatever... Bottom line you don't need to show any black or burn to have awesome crispy pizza. I've never had burnt pizza in the best places in NYC.
The sauce and crust otherwise was average to good, the cheese was ok also. However this was the first place where i felt a ridiculous amount of Parmesan in the slice. I know people who love putting a ton of Parmesan on their pizza... I'm the total opposite, can't even stand the smell from 10 feet away. Not sure why a place would inject a plain pizza with this much Parmesan.
So without the Parmesan, it was a B+ for the pizza itself. With it, D for ME with the service combined. Obviously if you love that P cheese, this is your go to place besides the slightly...
Read moreThis place is IT if you want a favorite Italian joint. Oh. My. God.—everything about it is so good! Cute and cozy. The ingredients are fresh and the crust of their pizza is always the perfect combo of crispy outside while being chewy on the inside. I can’t even explain it. You just have to experience it for yourself and thank me later. The noodles are spectacular too. The two owners are super nice guys. You’ll be able to pick them out of the crowd because they are very engaged and attentive to their customers. My husband and I love this place so much that it has become a non-negotiable, once weekly dining experience for us. I’m manifesting an expansion already—these two guys occupy the space next door too and then picture this: One side=romantic, low-lit, dine-in, immersive Italian, multi-course meal and the other side=fast and furious, fun and flirty, walk...
