I went to this Yogurt place today, which was only a few minutes from my home. I ordered 2 large yogurts with toppings to go. They packed both of my yogurts with lids in a small bag that I carried to my car. While walking into my house I noticed yogurt leaking from the bottom of the bag. I came to realize that the lids came off of the containers and the yogurt was all over the inside of the plastic bag. I immediately called the yogurt place and explained what happened. Initially the gentleman was nice and asked me if I wanted a refund or if they could replace my items. I insisted that they just give me a refund and I could send them photos of the mess that I had in front of me but they insisted that I bring the product back. So I packed up the melted yogurt mess into a Tupperware and brought it back to them. When I arrived, one of the guys took the Tupperware from me, went to the back and dumped it out, cleaned my tupperware and brought me my tupperware back. So basically just threw it in the garbage when they could have just seen the photo of the mess and saved me the hassle from driving back. While I was standing there, the older man was mad and telling me he shouldn't give me a refund.. it's my fault once I walk out of the door. And I insisted that maybe they're packaging shouldn't come undone while in transport.. So he continued by advising me that I should go to "Walmart" next time and that they might neatly package it for me. Lol. Basically trying to insult me because I wanted a refund for 2 yogurts that cost me $24 by the way. So I will never be returning to this place of business. Not to mention, when I initially saw their review was a 4.3, that should have...
Read moreNOT VEGAN FRIENDLY and ALL OPTIONS CONTAIN MILK, including the non-dairy. This place may be enjoyable for another diet, but I went here enticed by the healthy + "non-dairy" option (and unfortunately left without anything). After sampling a supposed non-dairy flavor, I asked the person working if they knew what the base of the ice cream was (just out of curiosity). He pointed to a sign on the wall that stated ingredients-- one of the first ingredients was whey, which is essentially milk. I asked if maybe that was the ingredient list for the regular ice cream, and he said he didn't know. He then went to the back to get the product they use to make the non-dairy flavors so I could look over the ingredient list (I do appreciate he did this). The bag was clearly labeled, in huge lettering "non-dairy." To my surprise, one of the first ingredients listed was casein, another milk derivative. I left without purchasing anything and will not be back. While I can see this place being great for some restrictive diets, it's not at all appropriate for vegan or dairy-free. I'm not sure if this is a purposefully misleading strategy or if the people running the place just don't know, but either way I hoped a place that caters to restrictive diets would have more familiarity with their...
Read moreMy family and I recently visited Ashdans Yogurt Cafe and had a wonderful experience, thanks in large part to the exceptional service provided by one of the cafe's staff members, Alvina.
Alvina listened patiently as my family placed their orders, offering suggestions and making sure she had all the details correct. She had a genuine enthusiasm and passion for her job that was truly refreshing. When it came time to serve our cones, Alvina took great care to ensure each scoop was perfectly portioned and presented.
But what really stood out was Alvina's friendly demeanor and genuine interest in making sure we were satisfied customers. She engaged us in friendly conversation, asked how we were enjoying our treats, and even offered tips on the best toppings to complement the different flavors.
It's clear that Alvina takes pride in her work and values providing exceptional customer service. Her positive attitude and attentiveness made our visit to Ashdans Yogurt Cafe all the more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this cafe to anyone looking for a delightful dessert experience, and be sure to ask for Alvina- she'll make your visit...
