True Treasures — Local services in Palm Beach Gardens

I have been a True Treasures shopper for many years, until recently, mostly for accessories. Recently I did a home remodel and redecorating. As such, I have been shopping like crazy for furniture and accessories to fit the new decor. I have been working with Don, a recently hired True Treasures decorator at the Northlake store and I have to say that my experience has been like having a personal shopper/decorator! We have discussed my home, looked through photos and he has sourced items for me as they arrive!! This service is above and beyond what one would expect at a consignment store and I must say, a brilliant business model… I would hope to see it marketed in this manner in the future and will do my part to spread the word!! Just left after brusque shakeoff by saleswoman. Looked at a pair of lamps marked down to $350 six days ago. There were signs all over offering 20% off ALL LAMPS. We mentioned this and she said “that was yesterday” and walked away. There were at least SIX signs they failed to take down after this Small Business Saturday promotion. We asked another (much nicer) saleswoman. She repeated the statement about the promotion and that their boss would “kill them” if they honored it. Really!? The signs are all over and you won’t honor your mistake? You are a consignment shop and can’t find any way to move on the price? You’d rather lose a sale for you and the consignee? Good luck there. You know there are plenty of other small businesses that...

Saw the perfect couch while at the store . Called a day later to purchase it over the phone. I had a friend pick it up for me as I was out of town. There was confusion and the wrong piece was picked up and brought to my house. When I called the manager he immediately solved the problem. Had the sales person fix the paperwork and then delivered the correct piece! Customer service seems to have been lost other places. BUT NOT HERE!!! They are FANTASTIC. I am so grateful they helped and solved a problem!!!! I will be returning very soon....
