There's a lot to like about Aladdin Mediterranean Grill! IMHO, they are probably among the top places to get Mediterranean style food in the North County, and that says a lot!

Unlike many places in the region that specialize in Greek food, Aladdin is primarily a Lebanese restaurant that also serves Greek and other Mediterranean style foods. Therefore, if I want a really good gyro, while the ones at Aladdin are tasty, I'm best to head to another area Greek restaurant that specializes in them. However, if I'm in the mood for the best Shawarma, then this is the place to be!

The restaurant was founded by a lebanese immigrant who worked in NY making middle eastern treats and pastries, then moved to this area working in other restaurants before opening this one.

As I mentioned, their shawarma is top notch - served in warm lavash with tomatoes, onions, pickles and rich tahini. Their hummus and baba ghanoush are also best among others in the area, the first being particularly creamy and the latter possessing the perfect beloved charred, smokey eggplant flavor.

Their menu is also larger than most Mediterranean restaurants in the region, featuring harder to find dishes like braised lamb shanks! Yum!

Finally, there's quite a selection of regional desserts (which have been adequate but not stellar), a friendly, helpful staff and quaint indoor and outdoor dining spaces. If you haven't been, then it's really...

This is my personal experience in this restaurant. I came from Miami for vacation in this area and I googled Greek restaurants nearby and this one showed up to be good and me & my family ,a party of 5 , went there . Before I write anything here I can assure you that it is not my first time coming to Greek restaurants I love their food . I’m a regularly customer of Taberna Opa here in Miami . Acrópolis at Tampa, etc . So we requested octopus plate with a prize of $15.95 and a plate of calamari as appetizers , what a disappointing choice , basically we were served 7 litter pieces of octopus on top of a whole plate full of salad and like 9 fried calamari in the other plate also filled with salad , my impression here was paying $15 bucks for salad. I don’t mind paying whatever prize it is but for the quality I’m used to see in others restaurants like this. We explained our concerns to the waitress and she said she will bring more but what a ridiculously amount she brought. I will include a pic bellow. So we decided to pay those 2 plates and 4 bears (a total of $50 ) and went somewhere else to eat . In my opinion this people are not serving according to standards plus the octopus was not soft and delicious as other restaurants manage to do. I do not recommend this place to anybody wanting to enjoy real like Greece restaurants...

We always stop here if we are in north palm beach. Food is always great and service is usually pretty good. We were in today (Saturday, February 24th).and our waitress was Erika. She has been there a while and is usually ok waiting on us in the past. On this occasion we were in for a light lunch. No appetizers, no dessert, only one soda and two lunch entrees. Maybe she thought she wasn’t going to get a good tip based upon a small check? I don’t know but she wasn’t particularly friendly and when she dropped the check, she literally threw it on the table as she walked to outside area. No “thank you” she didn’t even look at us. Not sure what the problem was. We ordered off the menu, no separate checks...,I didn’t even ask for s refill on my drink. I used to work with a girl like this when I was a cook. My impression was that she figured that order was not expensive so it won’t be that big of a tip, so “who cares “. Guess what , we still tipped 20%, but after a few years of stopping in here, we decided we won’t be going back. Thank you Erika! If we annoyed in some way you won’t have to bother...

My friend & I arrived within 1.5 hour of closing & were offered our choice of any seat (likely because it was later & emptier) My friend tried out a few tables, and after changing twice the Host, Richard happily greeted us! We were not sure what to order, And were worried about over ordering, so he helped us get a better understanding of the portion sizes, and made the perfect recommendation for me when I mentioned I was "Hungry but did not want to be full". We had one of the samplers, and everything was FANTASIC & so authentically flavorful! I had a long ride back home, and wanted caffeine to take with me. While I Knew Turkish coffee would do the trick I mentioned I wanted something to sip on for the long ride, Richard immediately said "I got you, I'm going to make you something special" and came back with THE most delicious beverage! The baklava was also sooo fresh & tasty! Overall I found this place to be welcoming and cozy, and the patio is right out front & offers Hookah for those that partake. Anytime I am in West Palm I will be sure to come back!
