Good companies stand behind their products. When they make a mistake, they make it right. That’s why the Palm Beach location of Jennifer Miller is such a disappointment. Take my advice, and spend your money elsewhere at a store with higher integrity and better customer service.

Just a year after buying a cuff bracelet for my wife at that location, the piece developed a crack and is no longer wearable. When my wife brought it back into the store, the staff would neither repair nor replace the bracelet. Instead, she was told that, unlike another cuff she had bought from the store, this one was not designed with any flexibility. The best they would do is offer 20% off a replacement. I’m not sure why the store thought that a rational person would pay yet more money to buy the same defectively designed bracelet, but that says a lot about the thinking there.

I don’t know much about jewelry, but I do know that well-designed pieces are expected to last for many years. I also know that cuff bracelets, like the one that I bought for my wife from Jennifer Miller, need some flexibility to fit over wrists and to keep from falling off wrists or sliding too far down the arm.

My wife, sisters, mother, and I have all bought jewelry from the Palm Beach location—as the store saw when my wife gave her last name to the staff there. After a terrible no-customer-service experience, we won’t be back, and I would recommend that you take your business to a company that better values its customers and its own reputation.

"Your offer, which we would gladly accept, was the very request my wife made that was firmly rejected by the manager when she visited your store.

We can certainly agree to disagree whether my petite wife would have exerted the force you say is needed to break the bracelet, but she loves the design of the cuff and wore it almost every day until it cracked. She will be glad to have it again.
