Nice to me and my service dog but don't carry nearly enough organic selections nor some of my favorite brands. However their kindnesses to me...seeing my nervousness and anxiety make me inclined to shop there especially if I'm having a bad day. On two occasions they even offered to assist me shopping and it wasn't cuz they were trying to rush me out of the store either LOL I couldn't make decisions one day and the girl said would you like me to pick it for you and I cried and said yes and she did. She put her hand on my shoulder and said its fine you're both doing great don't feel embarrassed. The manager himself was really nice and made me feel so welcome, complimented me on Baba's good behavior. Said it was a welcome change to some of the unruly "service" dogs but that they try not to turn anyone away. My opinion of Winn-Dixie is forever changed. For a while I couldn't even go grocery shopping and I was just eating gas station food or not eating at all. I never have to feel that way again, too scared to go into a store. With or without my service dog(in training but real close to being a pro :) ) Publix has been accommodating regarding my service dog but NOT kind and I don't feel welcome at all when he's with me although he behaves very well. Publix carries a wonderful selection of Organics and the brands I like but for me it's all about customer service and how I'm treated when I walk in the door. Sorry Publix but the majority of my shopping now goes to WD :) I can live without...
Read moreI used to love shopping at this store. I would shop at least 4 times a week for the past 8 years I would only shop Winn Dixie for groceries and had all my family convinced to only shop there because of prices and store cleanliness and staff. Well lately I have been a bit concerned and disappointed. After working all day I have to ring up my own groceries and bag them with a smart ass African American lady employee at self check out. She is always rude and condescending. I watched her yell at older customers to go to self check out. The lines have been extremely long and at 6pm she will shut down the regular lines so all customers have no choice but to use self check out. It has been a pattern, with this front end lady. I will sometimes have over a $200 order and she will not open a line .Were other front end shift leads will gladly open a register a take customers when lines form. Listening to other customers complain as well. I hope the Store Manager or Customer Service Manager reads this. I donât know if yâall are cutting back on labor,, but cmon I can see self check out only after 8p or 9p. But 6pm most people are getting out of work and stopping by the store. And when lines form open up a lane. No one wants to stand in line for 20/30 mins, then ring there own groceries up and bag. I will no longer patronize this location if this continues. Such a shame I love this store, but will...
Read moreMy husband and I went in this subway last night, and the woman behind the counter would not even lift her eyes to look at us. We were in there almost 10 full minutes she would not acknowledge us. She would not pay attention to us. We knocked on the glass. She was standing right in front of us. She would not even Offer to take our order tried to speak to her. This is about the fourth time we have walked in there and people that were working there would not take our order and we are not the only ones there were four other people in line before and these people were so busy at 7:30 at night trying to do their side work that they would not get behind the counter and take peoples orders. This is the worst Subway I have ever been to in my life , this place needs to be closed down. These people donât deserve jobs because they donât want to work except to try to close down the restaurant and they donât even close until 10 PM at night and this was last night about 7:45 PM. I wouldnât even offer this place ,...
