Ralph's Sewing & Vacuum — Local services in Palm Desert

We took my Mom's Hoover WindTunnel to Ralphs a few years ago and the tech did a great job and it was very reasonable.

I wrote the above the other day when I realized I had not given Ralph's a 5-star rating for the last time I took Mom's vacuum cleaner there - giving them a 5 star rating again - took it over there yesterday and picked it up today - looks so beautiful, like the most beautiful car that has been detailed out to perfection. Got it home and put it to work - it did a beautiful job again - so grateful to Lorie, the store owner - and to Joe who brought it back to the mighty vacuum it was - powerful! Thank you, Lorie and Joe!

horrible service from the moment I tried to drop off my shark vacuum for service ( a very rude woman at the register) and i should have known then not to leave the vacuum with this business anyway i did leave it and was charged $89 for basically doing nothing except putting the small brush back into the hose even this was done incorrectly and i havent been able to use the vacuum again

the guy who is the repair person reeked of alcohol he said he serviced the vacuum ( although it was just as dirty as when i left it and he said he changed the filter ( which looked as dirty as when i left it ) all in all i lost $89 and a good lesson Dont give this business your...

Oh OOPS!!! HOW DOES ONE LET A GOOD COMPANY GO BAD? What a shame. I used to take anything, even a St. John knit jacket to be altered. The alterations work is still beautiful...but oddly enough pricing is NOT consistent from one week to another. I also inquired about price to have someone briefly show me how a couple features worked on a new sewing machine...would takes less than 1/2 hour...was quoted 25$for an hour class. Ok!!!
