Staples — Local services in Palm Harbor

As convenient as it was to go to Staples, my Amazon pick up was not. When Amazon alerted me yesterday that my package was ready for pick up at the locker I went straight there; after struggling to try and start pick up from the locker, I asked an employee for help, even showing her the delivery confirmation emails, and was directed to call Amazon……I came back today to try again but was still having trouble and was told to call Amazon again. This time the Amazon rep mentioned UPS and the Staples customer service said that they sometimes use the Side locker when though UPS is supposed to put Amazon packages inside the locker; we looked inside and there it was instead of the locker. I asked the manager if he could place a sign on the counter simply saying “Can't get into Amazon locker, ask the front desk to check UPS locker”. He just kept repeating they are separate from Staples.. Yes, I know you're separate, but for added customer service, since it's in your location, to say something like “UPS sometimes puts Amazon deliveries inside the UPS locker instead”. He said that his district manager won't let him because of how they are about signs and that they were only allowed to put up signs on how to get inside the Amazon locker. I wasn't suggesting that he put the sign on the locker, I was suggesting that he put a sign on the CUSTOMER SERVICE desk; just something small to help customers for when something like this happens and I honestly can't understand why such a thing would be considered an issue or why his district manager wouldn't allow something...

This is truthfully the only Staples location I go to. I've had several positive experiences there. They always have a fully trained and informed staff. I have had horrible experiences at other Staples locations, including Largo. So the printing counter there is where I usually am to get things done for myself or whatever project I'm working on or, in my most recent case, work-related. So I went in the other night with quite a bit of projects that I wanted to get done. This is around 5:00. The store manager Peter was also managing the print counter. I did have one custom order that I asked Peter for help with and he put it together for me and he also helped with all of my other items, he went as far as to show me how to correct some minor document errors I had made he actually fixed a couple of things for me. I just can't even tell you how wonderful he is. They closed at 8:00 and I was there until then and Peter never abandoned me even though he was in the middle of closing down his drawers as the MOD of the shift. He is an invaluable asset to your company! I've worked with Derek in the past, also amazing, and what an a team you have over there at the Palm Harbor Staples! Even if you need something as simple as white out, go to this location! Thank you Staples for always being there...

After a bad experience at Staples over a year ago, I finally decided to give them another chance this evening. When I got to the register, the cashier was pleasant. I asked about two items (folders) that had sale signs on them. She called someone to check. A gentleman checked and said they had to be the exact same skew. When she asked about overriding it, because she also didn’t see why it did not come up as on sale, a man came to the register. When I thanked her and declined to purchase any of the items. The man made a comment. I stayed that the misleading sales signs were the reason I had stopped shopping at Staples. His reply was a nasty “whatever”. The cashier had a shocked look on her face regarding his behavior. I started to leave but turned around and asked her what his name was. I repeated myself a 2nd time and he again rudely answers me “Ed”. Then took off his name tag as he approached me and put his name tag in my face. At that point, I asked him to remove it and said I can’t believe you’re being that rude. He again shoved his name tag towards my face and I told him he should back up because he has passed the line of being rude. Very disappointed and disgusted by...
