February 20, 2023 We were at the restaurant approximately at 11:00 am first thing we noticed The tall ceiling in the dining room and even though it's pretty it makes the whole place echo. You can hear people talking from several tables over. May not bother some people but it will for many! The waitress served us water and one coffee each and then never returned. She went up and worked the register. We saw another waitress helping other people. And then there was a guy who had his own tables. But the lady that sat us never came back. We waited over 20 minutes and they never took our order... So we left money for the coffee and walked out. There was no manager there. There was nobody overlooking the waitresses. So if this place doesn't have management then it's going to be a terrible place to eat. One couple that eats there weekly can generate $150 a month profit for the restaurant. That's $1,800 per year. Hey owner.... You're giving that much away with not having management! If you could afford to lose that much money per week or per month then so be it. I was a regular weekly customer of Chatterbox and like a lot of people, the idea of new owners and changes had me a bit leery. However, the new owners have been nothing short of amazing. Admittedly, they needed to come in and learn the community and they have done their due diligence to keeping the best of what we loved about Chatterbox, while elevating the menu.

One thing I am constantly impressed with is the desserts. Chatterbox failed miserably in this department and the new owner, Connie, creates the most delicious offerings.

While I have eaten most everything there, my go-to food choices there that I wholeheartedly recommend are the cheeseburgers, steak hoagies, chef salad, and the steak and eggs.
