I caught the last film shown for their Noir series, and I must say I appreciated the attention to detail in the theatre, it's beautiful, and exactly what I was looking for. I saw The Two Jake's, which was a sequel to Chinatown, but directed by Jack Nicholson, instead of Roman Polanski. I saw the list of showings for the month, and they have some excellent films both past and present. If I lived closer, I would be here a lot! I, an avid film buff, see the absolute necessity and need for a cultural theatre in the desert to celebrate old Hollywood films, the classics, if you will.
