Read moreI am a weekly regular, but will not be back anytime soon. I was in their parking lot and decided to call in my order. I was told that they were not taking to go orders because they were out of all bread at 1pm. Since I was there I decided to go in and buy some pasta from the deli. But to my surprise, they were taking sandwich orders. I waited 10 minutes to be acknowledged and finally tried to place my order. A young man behind the countervnstructed that I had to buy a loaf of bread and then they could make my sandwich, which I did and had to get back in line. After 20 minutes of waiting, 3 of the 4 deli workers walked away when it should have been my turn. Frustrated I asked who was in charge. This last visit, the manager, who is European based on his accent, answered questions about a sausage they are offering. He did not hesitate to go behind the counter and warm up a dish with that sausage and offer it to me at no charge....just so that I could taste the sausage. This level of service is not offered in many places.
When I sat down to eat my meal, an employee was at the same table. He said that the manager is a pleasure to work with. You know something? I agree, he has always been the same, visit after visit.
Kudos Real Italian Deli, not only for a well-prepared meal every single visit, but for...
