This spa saved our vacation! We came to Palm Springs to see Frank Ocean for my birthday at Coachella. He dropped out, and it turns out my husband and I can’t hack it at festivals that are in the desert sun all day. The hotel we stayed at wasn’t our cup of tea. We just wanted to do something quiet, relaxing, and cute to recuperate from our pervious day walking 30k steps in the hot sun. We thought we’d give PSYC a try. We’re members at The Standard Spa in Miami so we know a good spa, and this one definitely impressed us! We came as walk in’s and they seamlessly accommodated us for facials. I wish I had the name of the woman at the front desk who worked it out. She was so helpful! We got a lovely tour from Cody and then went in for our facials. My esthetician was so sweet and obviously very talented! I have eczema on my face and she expertly worked with it. She even offered to take a picture of my husband and I post service in the gorgeous pool house. I started the day in a pretty foul mood from being exhausted from the previous day, but the beauty of the property and the sincere kindness of the staff made such a huge difference for me. We loved it so much we booked a massage for the next day! Once we checked out, Cody, who is just the sweetest and clearly loves his job, gave us some stellar recommendations for dinner. I am so grateful for our experience today. Everyone we encountered at Parker and PSYC was delightful. A hotel can be gorgeous like Parker and still fall flat if the staff is indifferent but Parker and PSYC really goes to show that you love a hotel that loves you back! So excited to go for my birthday massage tomorrow!!!!!!!! THANK YOU CODY AND THANK...
Read moreAbsolutely amazing experience. My husband booked me a prenatal package which includes facial, deep tissue massage, and body scrub/exfoliation (3 hours total). I was greeted with a very kind receptionist who gave us a tour of the place and guided me to the locker room where all the necessities for washing up/preparing for massage were available. I was provided with my own locker/bath robe. After i changed, Jacklyn, my first massager greeted me and took me to one of the rooms to begin my facial massage. It was the best facial i ever received. Jacklyn was very attentive and made the 60 min facial so comfortable and relaxing. I could felt my face rejuvenated right away and felt very fresh right after. After the facial, i was taken to another room and greeted by Kaela. Kaela was so kind to go through the postures i was expected to do for the prenatal deep tissue massage. I usually prefer the strong pressure due to tensed up muscles from sitting down for long time at work, but Kaela provided the best massage/comfort and i felt so relaxed during the massage. She knew all the parts of the body that were tensed up from pregnancy. Last but not least, i was taken to another room and greeted by Vanessa who was also very kind. Body scrub was my first experience ever and it was the best. My body skin felt so soft afterwards and during the salt scrubs, it felt so great. Overall, I highly highly recommend this best experience at psyc to all pregnant women!!!!! We will be back for sure!!! Their service is...
Read moreI visited the Club Spa for a massage this April. Walking into this beautiful looking place, the first people I encountered were security guards who forbade me to wander off the path to the spa, not even the little garden at the spa's entrance. That's because despite being a spa guest, I wasn't considered a Club guest. Upon entering the spa I saw 4 people being chased by another security guard who was shouting rather loudly for them to "STOP"; they were wandering around the premises near to the entrance and this was 'forbidden'. They too were asked if they were guests and they responded, they had just finished lunch. No, they were not considered guests. I considered myself pretty well traveled and to some really nice places... and never have I encountered such despicable, inhospitable attitude towards non guests.. The hotel could easily have created some natural barriers for private spaces but to call people out as they did, was really creepy. As for the spa, the shower water wasn't hot, not was the whirlpool. Hinges were coming off in several places. My massage was good but there is NO WAY, I would ever recommend this place to anyone ; for spa services, lunch or accommodations....
