Based upon my EXPERIENCE for over 20 years with EMC: Industrialized health care. In and out, fast. Fight for providers' attention. Providers are bonus motivated/enticed based upon volume/quotas. Dr. Mondino, my previous provider, left for cause. She was one of my best provider ever in my 82 years. Patient load can be 2000-3000 persons. If providers do not meet Eisenhower patient load quotas, they forfeit their bonuses. MyChart messages to providers ARE AT TIMES NOT ANSWERED within the three days promised. Today (6/29/23) Eisenhower could not tell me if my provider is even on duty or vacation or quit! No one answered his office phone when I called Rimrock appointments to inquire. Apparently this critical situation is well tolerated by the Eisenhower Board of Directors and Amanda A., RN, practice supervisor who gaslighted the whole issue. It's quality of life threatening for seniors who dominate the populace but who are underserved, condescended to and even berated by some of the least qualified quota driven providers and their RN's, the few RN's...

I've been seeing my primary care doc at the Rimrock office for four years now. And it never fails that when I am given instructions at the end of my appointment, they seem to always fail to provide all details. Like giving me lab work orders but not telling me to wait until 10 days before my next appointment before having them done. Or not letting me know that I need to call them to let them know where I am having my labs done so they can fax the orders to them.
Communication via MyChart is also bad. I've sent messages to them without getting any response. And sometimes even though I get a response, they instructions/answers...

She barked at me in front of other customers, which was completely inappropriate,and said Dr. FARNAZEH denied my appointment that I had waited patiently for 4 months for because I was 15 minutes late due to icy roads up in Idyllwild. I even called prior to let them know I was on my way and that I was dealing with dangerous roads. No human kindness what so ever and basically argued with me even after I said I would let all the other patients currently waiting go ahead of me since I was late. What happened to caring for...
