I think the collective majority of US consumers would agree that so many of us have just become numb and desensitized with the now nearly extinct art of human, proactive, thoughtful and intelligent customer service has diminished to virtually being a thing of the way back wonder years! But let me tell you there is still hope and my faith in the human part of humanity was rekindled after desperately pulled into this Quick Quack Carwarsh in hopes of using one of the trash cans by the vacuums to throw away some of the constant accumulation of fast food bags, cups, etc., from the passenger seat and floorboard… And that’s when I saw a representative walking back-and-forth picking up and doing his duties and I embarrassingly told him I’m not trying to get a freebie or anything I’m just trying to clear out some of this trash from my floorboard, but I don’t have a membership so I don’t want to you to think I am cheating… That’s when this very polite Representative extended his hand and said “I’m Devin, what’s your name?” I told him my name and he said “look don’t stress at all, the vacuums and the air compressors and the trash cans they’re free to use, so don’t stress… in fact, go ahead and use the vacuums and vacuum out your car after you get the trash out while your at it… it’s on us!” I was truly taking it back and considered that a WOW experience as I call it. I told him I’m getting a new car tomorrow most likely and I would be back mid month to sign up for a membership and I asked him what the plans were. He told me so I’m getting the $21 membership plan signing up with Devin! He made what was a semi self-conscious or embarrassing moment of using the facility without a membership and intern made me feel extremely welcoming comfortable, and sold me on a membership that I will be signing up for on the 14th of this month… Way to go quick quack car wash with this team member. Based on my experience, he looks like or seems like one to look out for next time there is any possible promotions or extra responsibilities… And I’ll end it with this. Read more4.12.2023 @ 0745am - I used my Quick Quack monthly membership on my big shiny Silverado. My family and I have been members of Quick Quack for over a year now. However, this day, the machine malfunctioned and just as the carwash was finishing at the end, the tracks forced my truck to the right inside the wash! It literally pushed my truck (with me in it of course) almost into the wall until I stopped it with my brakes in order to save my life and mitigate damages. I was terrified and obviously distraught because nothing like this has ever happened to me, as I've been driving and trusting automatic carwashes for decades! Additionally, this was probably my 100th time driving my Silverado through Quick Quack. These are the exact same people I see and give business to every week when I get my truck washed.
My truck is ruined so bad that there's popping sounds when I try to open the dented passenger door. My black truck has deep, hideous white gashes in the passenger door and sideview mirror.
I had to wait for the manager (who wasn't in the office yet). He talked to me kindly and with a straight face told me this was my fault because their camera shows me putting my foot on the brake.
Wow! He expects me to believe their camera shows me wrecking my own vehicle.
I called the police because I definitely don't want my insurance to cover Quick Quack's negligence. I mean that's why THEY are insured.
Long story not much longer, I'm working with my insurance company now to pay for the expensive repair of my passenger door and mirror.
People, please avoid Quick Quack at all costs. This should have never happened. Furthermore, they should have paid for the damage their equipment caused. Nevertheless, they will pay much more because not only have I cancelled my membership (obviously), but my family and friends have cancelled theirs, too. Extremely shady "business" at Quick Quack. Read moreI'm a semi-retired part-time rideshare driver, and I have to keep my car clean at all times, so I'm at QQPS on Vista Chino 3-4 times per week. I don't use the automatic members lane because I actually need them to place a small piece of tape on a section of my exterior rubber trim so their blowers don't blow it away, which means I interact with its well scrubbed professionally presented young staff every single time ... yeah, yeah, their drive through carwash facility is great - it does exactly what it's supposed to do - plus it's right there next door to both an AutoZone and an O'Reilly's - but it's the QQPS's STAFF who are the reason I'm writing this review. Every single one of them, while remaining focused on their job's fast-paced tasks and duties, nonetheless somehow remain one of the friendliest, most attentive, beautifully presented crews of any type of service establishment in the city / even the quietest among them are, in their own unique respective ways, authentically energetic, vivacious, even charming human beings - and they help make what's normally just a chore, into a delightfully uplifting few moments of greetings and chitchat that, for me, are always a great start to my day.
I wish the owner would let his team there accept tips again - it doesn't seem right to me, as a customer, receiving such a great service, to not be free to tip those providing it.
