Yeah my husband went there less than an hour ago with my 3yr old son as I was home with my daughter . We usually go as a family of four and have no problems . Tonight the manager and the checker on staff were completely disrespectful to my 3yr old son and my husband .
So disappointed to hear how they treated a great father with his 3yr old son getting groceries . They should be ashamed of themselves . We just moved to the area from the city, in LA , San Gabriel Valley , La Mirada , Fullerton etc Stater Bros is a great experience .
Not so with this specific location which is walking distance from our place .
Since we’ve moved here we have noticed staff complaining amongst themselves about this same manager and have witnessed his treatment to some of his staff. We once saw him scold a produce person on the floor instead of privately like someone with class would do . It’s pretty frustrating and sickening that this is the local stater bros .
I would shout out the names of who these people are however I’m sure most of the community and other staff know without me saying .
We need to eat so luckily there are other establishments nearby . We are an active family however and had hoped to enjoy a nice walk occasionally.
We’ve been customers at stater bros all around SoCal for years now so it’s one of our kids favorite . No one’s going to make us feel so uncomfortable we don’t eat . We will still go back luckily the other manger is nice .
It’s sad this is what stater bros in Palmdale is like overall and I hope the higher ups realize about their staff and get the bad apples...
Read moreLove this place. Been shopping here for years, usually come at least once or twice a week. I especially appreciate the Stater Bros versions of products, as they are always an excellent and cheaper option. Go to place for essentials, as well as a great deli and meat selection. I highly recommend both the Andouille and Calabrese sausages if you like spicy sausages. The former are somewhat piquant but not too bad, while the latter have more of a bite. Super friendly and helpful staff, always polite and on the ball. UPDATE: If you appreciate a good sausage with some bite to it, I highly recommend the meat department's Cajun Andouille. Or, if you like it good and spicy, their Calabrese are hands down some of the best I have ever had, from East Coast to West Coast. If you haven't tried their selection of flavored sparkling waters, I highly suggest you do so. We personally go through quite a few every week; the variety is wide and the price is right. A delicious and cost effective Italian Soda can be made by pouring the waters over ice, then adding cream or milk to taste. Especially refreshing during these...
Read moreI am mostly posting this so the management knows how wonderful their cashier Nichole is. The woman in front of me wanted her items bagged- after she was checked out mind you- yet had left everything in the cart.
She had multiple bottles of the same soda so only handed one to Nichole at checkout and left the rest in her cart. Normal practice if you don't want something bagged, but to do that and then ask for bags, and then still refuse to assist by taking the bottles out of the cart? Despite being very politely asked several times once a line had formed behind her!
It was astounding to watch the level of entitlement this customer had. In my opinion the smug look on her face said "ypur job is to serve me" when anyone else who was able bodied would have helped bag. Or at least put the bottles on the conveyor to begin with. Yet Nichole bore it all with grace. She is a model employee and says a lot for your brand (I am traveling and have never been to a Stater Bros. before,)...
