Warhammer — Local services in Palmdale

Recently got back into Dungeons and Dragons and mini painting. Heard about this store, looking mainly for Citadel Paints, and decided to take a look. My wife and I were greeted right away by Patrick, perhaps the owner or manager, who happened to be one of the friendliest and passionate people I have ever met in retail. He asked us what we were looking for, then asked other pertinent questions. After a little bit of browsing, we became interested in Warhammer itself, and even though it was pretty busy in the store, he managed to give equal attention to us and his other customers. Tried coming here on December 7th as I drove down from Oregon for the holidays. Their hours said they were open at noon, but when I came around 1, no one was there, which is fine. I come back the following weekend and the same thing with the light still on. I stopped by Wednesday and same thing. What is up with that?
