Miami Children's Theater — Local services in Palmetto Bay

This review is way overdue for us. If you're thinking of having your kid join a theater group where they can flourish and be themselves just do yourself and your kid a favor and have them join the MCT family. They work with amazing directors, choreographers, voice teachers. It is amazing what MCT can do with the resources they have. Tim Fath and the entire MCT crew is great and really help kids give their best when performing. They gave my daughter a chance when she came to do her first play at the age of 7 and we've kept coming to this theater ever since. No role is too small and the best thing is your child will have a part no matter experience level. This doesn't happen everywhere but it does here because I truly believe they know every child has something to offer. We are very grateful to MCT. Had two kids participate in plays. The quality of the middle School play was superb. The high school play ended up being full of curse words and talking about sex and was grossly inappropriate for 12, 13, and 14 year olds and really for the older kids too. With the almost infinite choices of plays to do, choosing one so age inappropriate seemed to show someone more interested in showcasing their abilities instead of what was best...

THIS IS THE SECOND SUMMER WE SEND OUR SON TO THIS CAMP , IT IS A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY , AND MISLEAD KIDS , THEY ONLY PICK KIDS THAT ARE KNOWN TO DIRECTOR FOR ANY IMPORTANT PART , COUNSELORS ARE HORRIBLE AND DO NOT GIVE KIDS ATTENTION , MY SON HAS GONE WITH OUT FLUIDS OR FOOD BECAUSE EITHER HE OR SOME ONE HAS MISPLACED HIS SNACK BOX SEVERAL TIMES , IT IS A JOKE AND SHOULD BE BETTER MONITORED...
