Sadly, my husband bought me a smoothie that I normally like. As soon he got home, I tasted and I knew was bad. The bananas flavor were off and the pineapple was so old that fermentation tickling my tongue. My husband was as frustrated as me, I injured my ancle a couple days before and I have to rest. But since is near by and I am a regular customer I decided to pass by with my smoothie to find a little of justice from the situation. I drove (my left ankle up, my right foot ready to take me there), went back with the smoothie and explained that something is wrong that I rather to have my money back (since the same fruits pretend to be back in a "new" one.. my appetite went off) so, very nicely I ask the young guy, so, he I understand have to ask a superior... went to the back.. texted and called.. minutes went by. I am standing on one leg, since I cannot put weight on my left foot and I ask nicely to please understand that was easier and also cheaper to just put the smoothie in the trash, but since I am a customer I didn't doubt to went and explained. Sadly they ask for a receipt, they ask for my husband's card, but never solve my problem. No offer to sit, no show any emphaty or consideration, actually the employee said to his boss in the phone "she said that she has an injury in her ankle" suggesting that I am acting my limping or went first to buy a medial support to wrap my foot for your $10?!?!
It is unbelievable how patient I was, I decided to leave the horrible smoothie on the store and limp back my car to get home empty hands. This is wrong. I am a costumer taking the time to drive back and explain your mistake, giving the place the opportunity to fix something and I was treated without any type of sympathy or respect towards my situation.
It was very probably my last visit to the place. I was not asking anything crazy or difficult. My smoothie was rotten so I want my money back.
Now, I can think in at least one option that was never offered to me "gift card" maybe?.. do I have to think for them the options to keep costumers happy after a wrong product??? it is very sad that I have to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe place is exceptionally clean. Staff are friendly and absolute sweethearts. They thanked us for coming and wished us a wonderful day. No lieā¦we couldnāt have asked for better service.
My only issue was the actual smoothie. It was lifeless, bland and thin. It had no taste to it whatsoever. The girls were kind enough to remake them for us, but they still tasted like frozen chalk water. Worse, the store uses Stevia as its only form of sweetener, so if youāre not a Stevia fan, unfortunately there are no alternatives. We ended up tossing both of ours into the garbage 5 minutes later down the street. Total waste of $20. If I might request, can you possibly variegate the types of sweeteners you use or thicken the smoothie content? I realize this place aims to be healthy, but even sugar or Splenda can be safe with moderation. Only a suggestion. Otherwise,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've gone two days in a row for a morning smoothie and have been impressed both times. I haven't received customer service this great from any business in a long time. Lauren assisted me on day one. There wasn't a smoothie from the menu I wanted and she told me I can make a custom one. She had me try it and let me know if I didn't like it, I can make any changes to it. It was delicious! The following day, I went back and was impressed that Lauren had remember the smoothie from the day before as well as size that I had ordered. She even wrote down the recipe so other employees know what to serve me in case she...
