Before I started Pilates, I struggled with flexibility, balance, and stamina. Just walking up one flight of stairs left me out of breath, and standing for long periods of time was uncomfortable. I also didn’t feel confident in my body or have a positive self-image. After joining group Pilates classes, I began to enjoy moving my body in new ways. That motivated me to take private sessions with Nino and within just 10 sessions, I noticed a huge difference in both how I felt and how I looked. Nino is incredibly professional and attentive. She always makes sure I use the proper form, encourages me to listen to my body, and never pushes me past my limits. Exercises that once felt impossible in our first session became achievable by the sixth session, which showed me just how much progress I had made. At the same time, I’ve been consistently attending group Pilates three to four times a week with instructors Rachel, Nikki, Michelle, and Arissa. The group sessions are always motivating and full of positive energy. Each instructor brings their own unique style, and I truly appreciate how they keep the classes challenging yet welcoming. Even in a group setting, I’ve always felt guided and supported, and the variety in each class has helped me stay consistent and committed. Now, after completing 36 sessions, I feel stronger, more balanced, and more confident than ever before. For the first time, I can look in the mirror and genuinely feel beautiful. Pilates has not only improved my physical health but has also lifted me emotionally. I absolutely love Pilates, and I’m so grateful for Nino, Rachel, Nikki, Michelle, and Arissa. They’ve each played such an important role in my progress. This has truly been worth the investment, and I will definitely be renewing more sessions!

Before becoming a member I did not have a history of visiting gyms. I did not come with any knowhow of lifting weights or how to even spell pilates. I do not consider Sensory Fitness a gym but a safe space for me and members to find balance through their many services. Today I am 30+ lbs lighter at my best physical and mental shape, the very opposite condition I arrived at. I celebrate two years this November! Maintaining a healthy weight isn't the only thing I learned. I live by their mantra: that Challenge Creates Change and that balance is vital to our personal goal setting. The environment, atmosphere, and care at this establishment are unmatched. What is more impressive to me is that after 2 years, the same instructors that introduced me to the world of living healthy are still here walking me through every move. Each person working at Sensory Fitness contributes in some way to you reaching your goal. I started by going 3 days a week for several months. I suggest starting with a few pilates courses. This is where I learned to breathe properly and work on my core. Now I take their Sweat (HIT) classes almost daily. If you are looking to invest time into yourself then Sensory should be one of your top options. Message me if you have any questions about my time here.

I love my studio. The programs at Sensory are a perfect combination of everything I was trying to juggle into my fitness routine. They have an amazing team of instructors who are all extremely knowledgeable, kind and professional.

Sensory fitness and the Rehab lab are SIMPLY AMAZING

I’ve had shoulder injury for 10 years now. I’ve had surgery and I’ve had physical therapy at multiple places including some of the most prestigious centers in Miami. The Rehab lab has been by far my BEST PT experience

1- Guillermo and Mike are very professional, knowledgeable, compassionate. They have a holistic approach to injury and incorporate “traditional“ physical therapy” with Pilates, cupping, percussion therapy, myofascial release and weight training. Treatment is not limited to the “symptomatic joint” instead they try find and address the source of the problem.

2- ONE HOUR ONE ON ONE: this is a one hour one on one hands on session. If you had PT you know for a fact that this virtually does not exist in the community. therapists commonly have 2 patients at time and in some instances 3. Not at the Rehab lab. your therapist gives you their undivided attention for a full hour

A one stop wellness center: 2 -3 PT sessions a week are never enough. patients have to do their homework and do the recommended home exercises almost daily; Majority of patients-myself included- don't, and this slows your recovery. At sensory this is never a problem. The PT sessions can be complemented with Pilates, boot camp group sessions, private training classes, Rehab workshops and daily wellness tips through social media. The therapists and trainers communicate and determine what exercises are best for you and what exercises need to be avoided or modified to best fit your individual needs. Basically the gym is the extension of your PT and this is unique to Sensory

Combination of PT and classes helped me recover remarkably. I've had better gains and a more enjoyable experience than other PT place I've been to over the last 10 years

AMAZING INSTRUCTORS: Pilates classes with Kayla and Michelle are as good as any physical therapy session. The classes accentuate your gains and speed your recovery. And If you need to step it up a notch than the boot camp classes with Johnathan, Natasha and Antonio will get you in shape!

Last but not least have to give a big shout out to Sensory's "secret weapon": Enrique Gomez. One of the owners and one of the personal trainers. Enrique makes sure that everything at Sensory is ship shape. His attention to detail, constant improvements to equipment/services/classes are unmatched. He makes sure every member is having an excellent experience. He listens to our feedback and makes changes accordingly

Bottom line, Sensory fitness and the Rehab lab are Amazing. If you want to invest in your health and you want a wellness center that helps your recover from injury and reach your fitness goals than do yourself a favor and go pay...

Before coming to Sensory I had a terrible experience with gyms. I was one of those who only did cardio because I just did not know what I was doing otherwise and could not bring myself to stick to going. After giving up on that method, I myself found Sensory Fitness on Yelp and decided to give it a shot because of some good reviews. I'm happy to say that this December I will be celebrating 3 years as a member! :)

Sensory is not your typical run of the mill gym. They offer reformer pilates classes, HIIT classes as well as personal sessions and a DPT. Enrique, Guillermo, and the instructors care about each person in their class as well as their technique. They don't make you do something you can't; at the start of each class, they will ask if you have any soreness, injuries, etc. and modify a move so you are still getting the best possible workout for you.

When I started coming here I could barely pull myself off the ground with the TRX straps, now I can not only pull myself off the ground with ease but I LOVE going to the gym almost daily. Seriously, you can find me here after work regularly and even on the weekends! I actually look forward to coming here almost every day not just because their instructors are amazing and I get to work out in their awesome HIIT classes and see myself constantly improving, but also because of the relationships I've built with the instructors and the other members of the gym. We can laugh together AND we get our butt's kicked all in an hour's time. It's great!

The Sensory team has created a one of a kind space with a sense of community you've probably never seen before. It's a refreshing experience if you are looking for a better way to workout. It's also nice to see the same instructors and members on a weekly basis for the past several years. I can also report that week after week I can guarantee that I will be sore in at least 2-3 muscle groups because of the workouts we do; there's always a new move to learn and a heavier weight to lift.

You should just sign up for a class at this point, what more...

I absolutely love this gym! I purchased a Groupon for one month of unlimited STRETCH classes and I instantly felt the difference in just the first week of attending the classes. This gym offers STRETCH classes where you do Pilates reformer exercises and the SWEAT class which is high intensity workout. I bought the STRETCH classes because I have two herniated discs in my lower back and I was hoping to strengthen my core. I can definitely say that I felt an improvement in my back right away. There were many moves I struggled with in the first week but by the second week, if you're consistent in going to your classes, it becomes much easier. The classes are really fun and entertaining, you're never not doing anything. Every day of the week is dedicated to a different type of workout so no one exercise is the same. For example, on Mondays you focus on Mobility and Fridays on Core. I really like that the classes vary and that it is always a challenge. The vibe is super cool there, they've got black lights and a great playlist playing in the background. It really sets the mood and the tone for each and every class. All the equipment is super clean, temperature is perfect and best of all, the instructors are amazing! Megan is a powerhouse and she will have you sweating in no time. Her sweat voice will trick you into a tough workout... But you'll thank her later when you come out feeling like a million bucks. Gio is a true master of his craft, you can tell right away he knows what he's doing. I usually take his classes Tuesday's and Thursday's. I really do recommend these classes to anyone who suffers with pains in the back, kneck, shoulders, knees.... you get the point. It helped me tremendously to build strength and get comfortable with breathing in some pretty difficult exercises. I would at least give it a try and see how it works out for you. I'll be back with...
