The Shack — Local services in Palmhurst

I've gone to buy THREE pre-work outs there and each one was worse than the last! The first one had so much humidity it was practically a rock. They probably do not rotate their stock so I must assume that it was sitting there for the longest time. Even if it the seal wasn't broken how would humidity even get in??? I called and requested an exchange which they honored (that's why I will give them 2 stars). The second pre-work out was from the same brand and texture-wise was fine but had such a terrible and bitter taste. Again, I called for an exchange and paid the difference for another brand of pre-work out. Guess what? Same thing as the second; terrible and bitter taste. I believe this location does not get that much product compared to other The Shack locations such as Edinburg on Sugar and University which leads to products sitting on the shelf either clumping up or developing a bitter manufacturer taste. They don't check their product expiration, need to restock all expired products. Bought iso protein and tasted little off and after 3rd shake I checked expiration date 8/20 and manufactured 8/18. Went to exchange it and owner didn't allow it until I showed 4 other products in his shelf expired. He then only offered the same price & same serving to trade back not a dollar more or serving. He had nothing to offer in that but vanilla, because the others were expired. i didn't want that but didn't want to argue & took it. when ordering a product, you expect to get what you're ordering/paying for.
