I have never written a review in my life, but this place was horrible. My mom took my water-damaged phone here to be fixed and they originally charged us $180, which is not the issue. Following this, we returned to this shop about 15 times in the span of like 2 months because it had non stop issues. When we came in the first time, we asked for my phone to be completely fixed, yet were forced to come back because first, the charging port wasn't working. They tried to charge us $75 for a cheap charging port but eventually just agreed on $15. Next thing you know, they had to put 4 different ports in my phone on 4 separate occasions because my mic didn't work and I couldn't charge my phone. EVERY NEW PORT they put in my phone was just worse than the one I came to fix. however, i was willing to accept it bc they just kept gaslighting me and i was tired of wasting my time coming back. However my phone, after like another week(so now currently) is barely usable and completely blacks out and won't even turn on. me and my mom asked for a refund, and instead of a refund they said they would give us a "brand new" iphone 11 which was actually a scratched up refurbished phone, so we said no. we asked for our $195 after all the wasted time, gas, and headache just for my phone to immediately break down after they "fixed it" Btw Hamzah, the guy whose the manager, he said to me "we always warn out customers with water damage that issues can come up no matter if we fix it" WHICH ME AND MOM WERE NEVER EVEN WARNED OF, LIKE WHAT? so your warning us after we paid and came here a million times? On top of that he's like "well that's why you shouldn't dunk your phone in water" first of all, it fell in water, second of all, it shouldn't matter to you if i found this phone washing up the shore of the atlantic ocean u told me you can fix water damage so do your job. they only gave us $115 back, because they said the parts in my phone make up the rest of the cost. its a huge scam because you're basically charging me for parts i would have never paid for if i knew my phone wouldn't...
Read moreRead all the way to the bottom, because the end is the absolute best (worst) part. If I could leave negative stars I would. My daughter broke her screen on her iPad, and trying to teach her the value of a dollar, and her own things, I made her pay to have it repaired. I found this place through Groupon, drove an hour to drop it off, they told me the Groupon I purchased wasn't valid, but gave me a "deal". When we picked up the iPad a few days later and brought it home to her, she turned it on and there was a strange sound and suddenly there were lines going through the screen. When I called them, they told me she'd obviously done something to it (she hadn't, we watched her turn it on) and we'd have to pay full price to have it fixed again. After being called a liar (for real), I asked to speak to the manager, who was equally rude, but agreed to fix it for "cost". I drove it another hour out to them, paid again, and waited for it to be fixed, and drove out there to pick it up (another hour) a few days later, where the original knucklehead that I spoke to tried to continue to argue with me, in front of other customers. Fast forward to last week when my daughter again dropped her iPad and I took it in to a different place (I do eventually learn) to be repaired. The lady called me as soon as she had the broken screen off and asked me if it had been repaired before. When I told her about our original nightmare with this "world-class" establishment, she said she wasn't surprised. The Bluetooth mechanism had been accidentally severed at some point, and instead of admitting their mistake, they'd chosen to say nothing, and tape it down inside. She was kind enough to repair it using some parts she had already, and charged us only $65 for the entire repair. PLEASE do not support these criminals. Bring your money...
Read moreI dropped something on my phone. The display was seriously cracked, inoperable and locked. I couldn't transfer any info to a new phone because of it. Of course I didn't recently back up my info. Of course I was due to get a new phone in 2 months. Of course I didn't want to spend a lot of money to fix the screen when I'm due to get a new phone. These guys were able to temporarily connect another screen so I could unlock it, they saved all of my info onto the card and gave me back my broken phone. I bought a new phone from BB and transferred all the info onto it at home. I liked We Fix It so much, I went back there and bought my Otter Box from them and not BB. Support your local merchants! I hope these guys are around for a really long time because well...gravity will always make...
