Barberitos — Restaurant in Panama City

I visited the location in Panama City FL with a total of 3 people in our group. There were 2 employees on staff and when the first person began their order which included tofu, the employee sighed and didn't say anything and walked to the back. The other employee walked over to begin the other two orders and acted like he was bothered we were even there. While he was preparing the orders 2 other customers walked in and he sighed and rolled his eyes. When the other employee came back from the back holding a handful of tofu he threw it on the grill barely cooking it before adding it to the burrito. During checkout I requested 3 drinks and a medium cheese. He didn't ring up the cheese and asked what else we needed after paying. When i stated the cheese I ordered he again sighed and rolled his eyes and began to ring me up for cheese that he forgot. I told him not to worry about it. When looking for a table there was not a clean table available anywhere. We had to get napkins and clean off our own table. Then when getting our drinks there was no ice. The floor in the dining area was covered in food and napkins. The employees didn't act like they cared if they were there or not. It was a horrible customer service experience all around. I love Barberitos. So many toppings to put on my burrito bowls. And the servers at this 23rd Street location are very generous with their portions. I think it's an excellent value and I think it's very nutritional too because you get a lot of veggies in there and the beef seems pretty lean and not like overly salty which is good. Lots of choices how they serve it too. I love this place. I think you could come like 20 or 30 times in a row and never eat the same thing twice but I love the burrito bowl pretty much the same way all the time. But today, I had tacos because it was National Taco day. And they were delicious too. Also, they have a great app that can help you earn points towards free meals and such. And they offer like dollar off the tacos today. And sometimes you get free guacamole or free cheese or whatever....

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! The food was ok, my lower rating stems from the high/unexplained price for my food. I ordered a bowl, which had no price listed ( my fault for not asking) and was able to choose my ingredients. I asked for guacamole and was told they were out and would I like avocado instead ( again-I didn’t ask the cost-just assumed it was included) and there was around a $2 fee for half an avocado. I was given my tray with my food plus nachos and was asked if I would like a small medium or large cheese dip. I said medium ( again I didn’t ask if there was a charge).
