Bowlarama Lanes — Local services in Panama City

So, we came as a group of 5 people, and there are 6 spots to bowl, we couldn’t figure out how to skip it so we played to games, and just had an extra slot. At the end of the 2nd game the lady came over and made us pay for the slot (we had played almost through the second one, and came up just because we were “taking too long”). The reason we took so long was because the bowling balls kept getting stuck down where the pins were, so for a lot of the round we had to sit and wait for our ball to come back. Theres no lock on the amount of plays you can have, and we were on the second one, and she kept watching us like we were playing more rounds then we actually played. Also be warned, there are no sizes to the bowling balls, you just have to do your best with what’s there. My friend slipped and fell, and she got angry at her for falling. We bought lots of food, the grilled cheese was $4.50 for something I could have made at home for like a dollar, I bought a thing of fries for $4 and they were very potatoey. This is THE BEST bowling alley ever. Truly. My husband, Warren, bowled here a little over a week ago when we were on vacation. As an avid bowler, he takes his own gear wherever he goes. While at the alley, he got into a great conversation with some of the employees, who are clearly passionate about what they do. As such, he became distracted and left without his favorite shoes (KR Strikeforce) and we didn’t notice until we were getting ready to bowl just outside Shreveport! He was devastated, but thought to reach out via the website to see if by some chance his shoes had been found. Much to our surprise, on a Sunday no less, the website manager, Garrison, reached out within a few minutes to let us know that they had found his shoes! He was so kind and offered to ship them back to us here in Texas. They arrived today, in perfect condition, with a nice note attached. What a wonderful experience overall. They are always rude, always try to push us out the door. They have league almost every night so we cant come till 9:30 and they rush us out or act super mad that we come in. There sign says the close at 11 but we came in at 9:50 and were told they were closed, but league doesn’t get done till 9:30? I get the price is good which is why we go but I’m tired of being treated bad every single time I go in there.
