FINNS was definitely a fun place to visit! When you walk up to the entryway, you have to go over to the right a little bit to the ordering window to order for your food. Initially, it didn't look like there was much room to park or places to sit. But the place is deceptive! There is plenty of seating space in around to the left and out to the right side of the building and in back of the building. We sat in the back where you can Overlook the water inlet. On the way out, we also noticed that there was plenty of parking across the street in a public parking lot. It's not directly across the street but less than a block over. It was very beautiful and peaceful at FINNS while our party was the only one there. However, it is clearly a popular spot and became a bustling atmosphere shortly after we arrived. We all really enjoyed looking around and seeing what we can see in marveling at the thatch roof and wondering how long it took to make such a thing! On the Practical side of things, however, We Were cold. It's not yet winter time, but there was a pretty good Breeze, they had fans running, and the temperatures were relatively cool. So that made it such that we couldn't quite relax and just enjoy it our food. Speaking of food, it was delicious and everybody agreed we would come here again. I personally decided I wanted to get the pancake tacos with their banana pancakes. What you should know about the Banana Pancakes is they apparently lay slices of banana on The Griddle and then pour the pancake batter over it. Then they scoop those up, put them in the basket, and put your scrambled eggs on top. The problem is when you go to pick it up like a taco the bananas are on the outside where it's very slippery because of the bananas. So, I dumped my eggs off, flipped my pancake over, and put the eggs on top. Then the outside was nicely cooked to hold it like a taco. However, they were drippy and my hands got all slippery & messy anyway because of the maple syrup! But it was delicious, and thankfully they had a sink around to the side of the building where I could go rinse off my hands. There is a separate Barista inside the middle of the building, where we went to get our coffees. The Coffees were delicious, but expensive. The staff was all super nice, and they were very helpful with anything we needed. I almost raided this five stars, because it was a fun experience and the food was good. I did bump it down a bit though because the food is served in cardboard containers with paper liners and plastic utensils. My dad wanted to cut his pancakes, but found that very difficult and it would have been easier if it was on a real plate with metal eating utensils. That, the fact that we were cold, and the coffees were expensive and ordered completely separately from the meal kind of diminished the experience just a little bit. Overall, it was a fun enough experience that we will visit again, and I'd recommend going at least once for the experience of it. And who knows, maybe you'll love the food so much you'll go back too!

Man, where to begin? FINNS blew my expectations out of the water.. The pictures online and good reviews enticed me to make a stop here for dinner with the wife. When we got close, I thought for sure my GPS was leading me the wrong way. There was several large restaurants nearby with long lines of people and I figured that's the type of place we were going to end up at. We passed all of these and went down the street. We parked in the parking lot across the street of FINNS and made our way into the restaurant. The restaurant is a nice, quaint building that has a great vibe. We were greeted by a very chill gentleman who helped get us started with ordering and also made recommendations. We sat down outside and waited for our food. It arrived within just a few minutes. It was incredible. So good that we went back and ordered more. I highly recommend this place!!

I love the location, the people who own and run it, and its local tradition. Maybe over the years I've simply not ordered enough variation, so I will update when I do, but I honestly think the food here is only mediocre. The tacos always fall completely apart, the fish is overcooked and over-charred on most occasions I have had it, the ceviche is basically a really expensive bowl of marinated tomatoes with a few tiny shrimp and some onions a sprig of cilantro. The tuna dip had a thick layer of seasoning sprinkled on it so it's difficult to say how it's actually supposed to taste. And I have never been able to get over that the chips are just individually sized bags of Tostitos. Maybe that's one reason why everything is so expensive here? Sorry guys. I love ya but it's a resounding no from me. Maybe I should try the breakfast instead.

Finn's Island Style Grub: A Slice of Paradise in St. Andrews Nestled in the historic St. Andrews district of Panama City, Finn's Island Style Grub serves up a taste of tropical bliss that'll transport you straight to the islands. This casual eatery has mastered the art of fresh, flavorful fare that perfectly captures the laid-back coastal vibe of Florida's Gulf Coast.

From the moment you approach the colorful, beach-themed exterior, you know you're in for something special. The open-air dining area, adorned with string lights and surfboards, sets the perfect mood for a relaxed meal, whether you're fresh off the boat or just dreaming of island life.

The menu is a celebration of fresh seafood and Caribbean-inspired flavors. Their fish tacos are nothing short of legendary – perfectly grilled mahi-mahi topped with their signature tropical slaw and a zingy citrus sauce that'll have you planning your next visit before you've finished your meal. The coconut shrimp rivals anything you'd find in the islands, with a crispy coating that gives way to perfectly cooked, succulent shrimp.

Don't sleep on their famous Finn's Bowl – a masterful combination of seasoned rice, black beans, fresh mango salsa, and your choice of protein. The jerk chicken version delivers just the right amount of heat, balanced beautifully with their house-made pineapple sauce. Vegetarians will be delighted to find that the grilled portobello version is just as satisfying as its meat-based counterparts.

What sets Finn's apart isn't just the food – it's the attention to detail. Every sauce is made in-house, and you can taste the difference. The staff embodies that warm island hospitality, making you feel like a regular even on your first visit. They're always ready with a recommendation or to customize a dish to your liking.

The portions are generous without being overwhelming, and the prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity you receive. Most entrées fall in the $12-18 range, making it a great value for fresh seafood and...

One of the best restaurants hands down. The only negative thing I can think of being that they do not have sushi on the menu but make up for it with the tuna tacos. Great friendly staff that's extremely helpful. Ordered the tuna tacos which are loaded down by the way with perfectly seared premium sushi grade tuna but back to my point about the staff.. I'm not a huge fan of mayo and also like sriracha but also on something with such great flavor on its own dont want it over powered, so I basically decided to order them dry and the cashier recommended getting the white and also avocado sauce on them if I was a fan of either or he would gladly place them on the side for me. He knew me better then I did at that time, it would of been great but lacking without any sauce on them and it greatly bypassed any expectations I had. I usually stick with these tuna tacos and get both sauces with them now vs the orginal way they come thanks to that man. Also highly recommend the steak tacos which are also the best in town and well worth the price, which I'll admit I was steciple about at first but the price is well worth it and finns definitely provides you with what...
