NEVER AGAIN! I'm a long time local and remember when this place was on Hwy 98 and it was packed no matter what time you got there.
As a local business owner in St. Andrews I take my staff out once a week to support other local businesses. Even after the new ownership of this place fired its entire staff and remained closed, we decided to give it another shot despite reservations and let me assure you, we weren't let down by the horrific experience.
We arrived and parked, bc I drive an F250 and its a larger truck I'm EXTREMELY mindful of those next too and around me. When backing into the parking spot I could clearly see there was someone sitting (lights on) in the truck Im about to park next too. To air on the side of caution I pulled forward and backed my truck up with the drivers side tires on the parking line of the parking spot to my left, while the truck with the driver waiting and had his lights on was to my right.
When I parked there was enough space to land a 747 between the trucks and I made 1000% sure to tell my co-worker to make sure to watch the door when exiting bc the guy was obviously in the truck.
We exit without issue, my passenger got out with enough room for an Apache helicopter to land between the trucks. Stevie Wonder could see we cleared the truck by a long shot.
We enter the restaurant, we are seated, ordered a coke and sweat tea, chips and quest and just as our meal is coming out...here comes the red headed "Man Karen" from the other truck in the parking lot. This dude was in full short man syndrome mode, in tote was a woman and a child.
Man Karen approaches us and claims we "scratched" his mirror, insinuating we caused major damage to his truck, which we know didn't happen at all. After several attempts to get the red headed man Karen to leave us alone he continued to escalate the situation by minimizing the amount of damage caused to his mirror and trying to explain himself to people who knew he was full of shiitake mushrooms.
The manager comes out and rather than asking the red head man Karen to leave for starting, provoking and continuing to escalate the situation to leave, he asked us to leave. We are all heavily tattooed, while red headed Karen was wearing the Bay County standard issue blue polo and khakis, so of course prejudice the tattooed people... its exactly how it felt..So we leave with plates of food untouched that had arrived seconds before the red head Karen shows up.
When we exit the restaurant the Red Headed Man Karen conveniently moved his truck to the next parking spot to his right... If we "scratched" your mirror why didn't you say anything when it happened?
I frequent MANY of these owners Mexican restaurants, no more.. I won't spend another dime of my money here or with any restaurant affiliated with the ownership of this dump.
Ive been treated better by teenagers at Taco Bell than the management handled...

The first bite was a revelation. The tortilla was soft and warm, enfolding a generous helping of perfectly seasoned meat, tender and succulent. From the very first sip, I was transported to a tropical paradise, where the sun was shining, and worries were left far behind. These margaritas were delightfully chilled, keeping me refreshed and leaving me with a warm, happy glow.
The overall dining experience at Los Antojitos was truly unforgettable. Read moreVery rarely do I give out a 5-Star flawless review. This place by far is the best Mexican restaurant I have personally eaten at. I lived and visited many states, ate more Mexican food than I can count, but this is simply the pinnacle. Let me break it down:
• Food • Hands down the best Salsa Ive ever had bar none. These are leaps ahead of any competition In town. It's not watered down or soupy. It's the perfect consistency, Perfectly seasoned with tons of flavor, but also not overwhelming. The queso/cheese dip was great as well. I like the touch with adding a few pieces of Cheddar on the top, melted, and of Course the star of the show, The Chips. They are perfectly crisp, with a dust of seasoning on each chip. I don't know what they put on the chips, but it's fantastic. I could eat those chips for hours and pay the price later! There was 8 of us in our group and every single person had a unique dish. There was one thing we all agreed on. The food was incredible. The steak was packed with flavor and tender. The mix of cheeses in my quesadilla set it over the top!
• Staff • So friendly, Polite, Informative about the food and facility. We were welcomed as soon as we walked in with friendly smiles and questions about how we would like to be seated and if we needed help with our baby in a car seat. That stuff just goes the extra mile with us.
• Facility • Speaking of the facility, It is either newly built or newly remodeled because it was ultra-clean, modern, spacious, beautifully organized and above all... Comfortable! Seats were great at the tables. The restaurant had different areas to sit (Bar Area, Outdoor seating, Main hall style, etc.) and again, all modern, clean, and comfortable with great lighting. Bathrooms were also some of the cleanest we've ever used at a restaurant. That also speaks volumes to us on how they care for the facility. Also would like to note the music (which of course is subjective) was right up our ally. Tons of early 2000's hits like Backstreet boys, Britney Spears, Evanescence, etc. My wife and I were unapologetically jamming out.
• Final Thoughts • Gotta be one of the top 10 restaurants of all time for me. Its a mix of things why this restaurant was perfect to me but regardless I am now a loyal forever customer assuming nothing changes and will push everyone I know to...
