Ario Restaurant and Grill — Local services in Panama City

Looking for a new dining experience in town, my wife and I decided to give the venue a try and were not dissatisfied.

The vibe is a little different with a food truck outside but we chose indoor dining. When we got there in the early evening, we were the only ones there so we were seated immediately.

Though we have some familiarity with Mexican and Latin food, we needed an explanation of some of the terms that we were unfamiliar with. The waitress was very friendly and was very helpful with our questions.

The waitress said steak was one of their specialties and it was cooked in a charcoal grill. I opted for the New York Strip with Caesar salad and fries plantains for the sides. My wife ordered another type of steak, though I forget the name as it was a term I was unfamiliar with.

The steak was by far the best tasting steak I've eaten in all of Bay County, and only another one occasion comes to mind out of town that might compete. It was perfectly cooked and just absolutely bursting with flavor. The sides were great too but the steak was absolutely amazing.

Discussing the flavors as we dined, my wife was trying to hold out by remaining faithful to her normal steak place but as each bite crossed her lips, her resolve faltered and I she finally had to admit the flavor was better than her favorite place.

Though this was our first time there, I have little doubt we'll return for the steak.

Wow is all I can say! This is hands down some of the best Latin food in Panama City. I had the steak kabob and it has immense flavor. It reminded me of when I had a kabob in Colombia a few years ago. The name of the dish I had was Pincho just so everyone who reads this review knows. That’s the kabob dish that I had. The kabob has onion, green pepper, bacon and Steak. Now people might be mad because they are a food truck and you sit under a tent with fans. Great food and service (mom and pops joint). If you are tired of Mexican food or want to try something delicious and different look no more. There menu is primarily Venezuelan but is just more than that. We had the Mixed Grill and the Chicken Arepa. The Mixed Grill meats where season perfectly and the steak was cook a perfect medium (as ordered). The Arepa was on point, if you never had one, this is a Venezuelan classic and must have.
