Came in looking for a couch. Wasn't greeted as we walked in, one employee was on the phone with I'm assuming a customer and I'm not even sure what the other employee was doing in his office. The employee on the phone was dealing with I assume a difficult customer, because she was cussing, rolling her eyes, huffing and puffing, all of that. I understand dealing with difficult customers can be frustrating but you really shouldn't let other potential customers see you like that; you've got to maintain your composure. Once off the phone she came to "help" us, but didn't really talk to us much at all about what we were looking for, before walking away sort of mid conversation to go answer the phone. The customer on the phone was asking a bunch of questions about renting, and the employee seemed a bit rude to said customer just because of his questions. I have been a loyal customer of rent a center for quite some time now. I have had problems with them in the past, but thought for some reason or another this time would be difficult,,, lmao.... Won’t ACTIVELY LISTEN to you when you’re explaining a situation and then will get into a screaming match with you if you don’t listen to her (which surprise, is something she’s incapable of doing herself). She seems to have some sort of need to always be right. Take your business somewhere else!
Update: May 16th!!! They just picked up the W/D (dryer that was not working). They kept telling me it was my receptacle, but I just went got a new set from Aaron’s and the plug works just fine. RAC did not even take the time to test the receptacle or anything before blaming it on my plug.
